Practice extra caution today, especially when speaking, driving, or posting on social media. Thanks to the influence of Mars on these activities, you may feel pressure to move quickly or speak your mind emphatically. With Mercury retrograde and receiving interference from Neptune, however, there will be blind spots that can cause more trouble than you realize with people, machines, or vehicles. Use this energy instead to tackle unfinished writing projects, plan business strategies, or search for lost objects. 

Taurus April 20 to May 20

 Confusion will swirl around money and possessions today, especially regarding friends or organizations. Try to avoid lending out anything that you would hate to lose. The person or group asking may be completely trustworthy, but the conflicts between Mercury, Mars, and Neptune mean that the best intentions can get derailed by unforeseen events. On the other hand, if you lent out an object in the past that was never returned, this would be a good time to ask for it to be returned. 

Gemini May 21 to June 21

 You will be filled with ideas today and eager to express them, but try to pull back your energy and say less than you might wish. With retrograde Mercury working at cross-purposes to Mars and Neptune, it would be all too easy to step on the toes of the person you're trying to impress. Tread extremely carefully and listen more than you speak. If you do, you may hear a piece of information that has been obscured and will ultimately assist you in pursuing an ambition. 

Cancer June 22 to July 22 

 This may be one of those days when you feel as if you're trying to swim upstream. Indeed, if you attempt to move too quickly on a new project, the likely result will be having to redo some of your work. Look instead to cleaning out the closets or basement or finishing an abandoned project. If you've been struggling with a writing project, especially a dissertation, use this time of confusion to consider a different approach. Likewise, if you've misplaced a legal document, this would be a good time to search for it. 

 Leo July 23 to Aug. 22 

You may plan to attend a reunion or feel the urge to seek out a long lost friend. If so, it's possible that you will uncover an old secret, which will surprise or trouble you. With Mercury retrograde and conflicting with illusory Neptune, it's possible that you still won't have the whole story. Avoid any rush to judgment and instead seek to understand and show compassion. On a separate note, if you've had concerns about your investment strategy, be proactive, ask questions, and initiate some research. 

Virgo Aug. 23 to Sept. 22

 A flurry of last minute work may interfere with plans you'd made with your partner. It's possible you might have exciting career news to share, which won't elicit the congratulations you might expect. Whatever the case, someone's sense of disappointment can lead to frustration or quarrelling. Do your best to set aside your instinctive reaction and focus on understanding your partner's concerns. He or she might simply wish to spend more time with you. A willingness to listen and compromise will build a stronger relationship. 

 Libra Sept. 23 to Oct. 23 

This would be a good day to seek out advice, especially if you've had a nagging sense that something isn't quite right at work or with your health. You may be tempted to brush off your concerns, but figuring out the truth will enable you to take strong action that will prove beneficial in the next two weeks. This will be especially important if you have any legal questions or concerns or deal with any international business or trade. 

Scorpio Oct. 24 to Nov. 22 

Be careful that your healthy curiosity doesn't become intrusive, as Mercury joins forces with Mars today. You risk hurting or disappointing your beloved if they find you digging for information that they would consider private or sensitive. By all means, ask directly if there's something you want to know. If they decline to share, however, don't take it as a sign of duplicity, but simply as an indication that trust needs to grow slowly. You may find that they become more confiding when Mercury goes direct on June 11. 

 Sagittarius Nov. 23 to Dec. 21 

The combination of Mercury and Mars influencing your relationship may lead to a quarrel with your partner. If so, try to step back and discern the true cause of the problem, as Neptune's interference indicates that there might be a hidden source of friction. It's possible that disappointment or confusion, especially regarding home or family, has upset one of you more than you realize. Talking it over will help you move on to much happier subjects and activities. 

Capricorn Dec. 22 to Jan 20 

Don't allow frustration with a work assignment or colleague goad you into saying something you might regret. With Mercury retrograde and in a dispute with Neptune, there's too great a risk that your words would get blown out of proportion. If you can, take a break from the situation and go for a power walk, work out at the gym, or play with your pet. Then use this energy to revisit an old business plan or devise a new one. 

 Aquarius Jan 21 to Feb. 18 

Today's alignment of Mercury and Mars can give a sparkle to your love life. You and your sweetheart may spend hours in laughter-filled conversations or online chats discussing everything and everyone. With Mercury retrograde and experiencing interference from Neptune, however, some caution would be advised. At this time, refrain from revealing too much about finances or planning any excursions which might prove expensive. Focus instead on discovering interests and activities you both enjoy. 

 Pisces Feb. 19 to March 20

 A family dispute, especially over the past, may come to the fore today, as Mercury joins forces with Mars in your domestic sphere.
