your career is showing great signs of life. If you want a better job, the people in charge apparently want you. Last month two developments occurred to bolster your chances for success for professional progress. The first was the entry of Mars to your tenth house of fame and honors, which occurred June 4, to stay until this month, July 20.

You also had a sweet new moon, June 23, that would support your efforts to uncover the perfect new job for you. Mars will be conjunct the Sun, so you will have all the motivation you need to get ahead – that’s also a big plus. Your solar tenth house of career is ruled by the moon (Cancer) and so is quite affected by the once-a-year placement of the new moon in Cancer. That new moon’s energies are still strong in early July, and as you see, Mars is still working hard for you too. It’s now or never, dear Libra. You have to decide how important career progress is to you at this point, for you won’t have Mars’ high-octane energy again until May-June 2019, two years from now.

I want you to act now on a career goal for another reason – Mercury will go retrograde August 12 to September 5. Right now, the Sun, giver of life and strength – and the same luminary that suggests favor from VIPs – is also in your tenth house of honors and awards. As you see, all conditions are right for you to make a run for the top job, because in the first half of July, your planets are cheering you on.

On July 5, you will be particularly creative, for Neptune will contact the Sun in the most heavenly way possible (at 120 degrees, a trine). This would certainly be the day to brainstorm for ideas. If you write imaginative novels or screenplays, or you are an actor, makeup artist or costume designer for movies, floral designer, home decorator, an illustrator, painter, poet, dancer, set designer, cinematographer, filmmaker or photographer, you are likely to outdo yourself. (If I left out your specialty, please forgive me! You get the idea.) Neptune is currently in your workaday project sector and sending silvery beams to the Sun in your house of fame. Neptune rules images and all right-brain thinking as well as symbolic communication, so on this day you will be capable of award-winning work. Go to it!

Your attention will switch to your home and family on the full moon July 8, as it falls in Capricorn 17 degrees and will light your home sector. This full moon comes conjunct Pluto, a planet that rules all things that happen underground, so you may be working on fixing up your basement if you have a house. Pluto and Neptune are in lovely communication, so if you are about to decorate your basement, you will make superb design choices now. Pluto also rules the foundation of your house, so if there are any cracks or other repairs you need to make, this new moon will make those weak links visible to you so that you can call the professionals in to fix them. If you have been working on your apartment or house for a while, you may now, at long last, see the contractors finish up, and you can enjoy your new improvements.

Pluto will be opposed to the Sun in the first week, and with this aspect within orb of this full moon, you have a small possibility of having a disagreement with an authority figure in your family or with someone connected to your home. The person you might be your father, landlord, contractor, decorator, or other male, so at the full moon, you might want to avoid bringing up a controversial opinion, or if you do have a criticism, to do so diplomatically and politely, knowing your words (if too harsh) could create a complete melt-down in the person you are speaking to. I think it’s more likely you’ll find something you might want to fix in your physical property than experience this emotionally.

If you would like to take a vacation in early month, take a mini one, for you seem to have a lot of opportunity sprouting up in your career, especially in early month. You could not wish for a better time to go away over a long weekend than on July 14 through July 16. If you have a sweetheart or spouse, let your partner decide on all the plans and make them, so you can stay free of decisions. The transiting moon will be in Aries, and best of all, Mercury, planet of travel and communication, will be in ideal sync with Jupiter in Libra. As an aside, July 14 would be an ideal day to sign any papers.

All conditions are right for you to make a run for the top job, because in the first half of July, your planets are cheering you on.

July 17 will be a touchy day, when Mars and Uranus will be at odds, possibly triggering an angry outburst from a business partner, agent, or someone who collaborates closely with you – or it might be from your spouse. If it is the latter, your intense focus on your work could irk your romantic partner because your partner might feel neglected. Knowing July 17 could turn out to be “one of those days,” see if you can tread softly.

The entire demeanor of the month will change – quite joyously – when Mars enters Leo, 1 degree, on July 20 to stay until September 5. Mars will almost immediately downplay your career emphasis and usher in a brilliantly strong social season for you. Something interesting is going on in the heavens, for the new moon on July 23 will be in Leo, lighting the same area that Mars will light, your eleventh house of friends, fun, events, and contacts.

Furthermore (and here is the big news) you will get a SECOND new moon in the very same area of your solar chart NEXT month at the following new moon, August 21.) Typically, each month the new moon comes by in a different zodiac sign and brings opportunity in a different part of your life. But in the coming weeks, you will have two new moons in a row in the same part of your chart! Wait – there is more! That second new moon, also in Leo, this time at 29 degrees on August 21 will be super-energized, for it will be a solar eclipse. We only get four eclipses on an average year, so this is big news! Eclipses have the power to bring massive change, and in this case, will center on your social life. (The new moon next month is a friendly one. In July and August, you will have an enormous emphasis on friends, and your friends and the new ones you make now hold the key to most of your personal growth in coming weeks.

Be open to meeting new people. They will bring fresh oxygen to your life, stimulating you with new ideas and contacts, invigorating you, and coaxing you to delve into new interests and to try new things. They will show you talents you have within that you have not yet developed, and they will give you the confidence to do so.

After July 23, you will have an entire family of heavenly bodies in Leo including the Sun, new moon, Mars, and Mercury – plenty of emphasis. Leo is a divinely compatible sign to yours. Consider joining a professional group or (and) a social club, and if you do, make an effort to go to meetings. This part of your chart also rules charitable efforts and humanitarian causes, so if you are moved to help a part of society that needs attention, research, and awareness, by all means this is the time to roll up your sleeves. If you only have a little time, you might join a 5K run for the cure, for example, or attend a charity auction to help out. No effort is ever too small.

If you have a birthday that falls within five days of September 23, you will benefit the most from this new moon. The same is true if you have Libra rising at 1 degree, the natal moon in Libra at 1 degree, or a natal planet in Libra, Aquarius, or Gemini, Aries, Leo, or Sagittarius, all at 1 degree (allow a plus or minus five degrees in all cases), then you too will find all kinds of benefits from this new moon.

Romantically, you will have an enchanting month. Venus will be in Gemini, a fellow air sign like yours, and you have a packed house of friendship, with Mars in fire-sign Leo, a sign that makes you shine. You are sure to stand out in a crowd and be invited to lots of events. Mars has the ability to up your sex appeal and make you confident, so when you step out, look your best.

Two days are poised to be your very best for love:

The first day will be July 14, when Venus in Gemini will align with Jupiter in Libra. Venus is currently in your travel sector, one of the reasons I was hoping you could take a long weekend away at that time, from July 14-16

The second point in the month I am enthusiastic about for your love life will bridge two days, July 29-30, a weekend, when Venus in Gemini will receive electric, dazzling and brilliant energy from Uranus, planet of unexpected developments. This is another four-star day!

Let’s not forget that although lots of people, of all signs, will love these two points in the month of July, you will love them even more, getting a double dip of pleasure, because Libra is ruled by Venus, and that means it’s Venus’ job to take good care of you. Are you excited yet? You should be, dear Libra!

You have had what must seem to be an interminable, lengthy focus on your home and family, going back months, so you may be ready for change and good news. Everything going on with your home life is likely to get signed, sealed, and settled, once and for all, within four days of the full moon July 8. This full moon, in Capricorn, will light your house of home, so at the very least, if you have been building or renovating a structure, you will reach a new and more developed plateau or hopefully, an end to all the construction. If you have been concerned about the welfare of a parent, this full moon will be able to find answers that may have confounded you in the past.

Meanwhile, your career will continue to be lively, thanks to the tour of Mars, now traveling through your tenth house of professional achievement, a trend that started in June. If you are tempted to change jobs, you still have time to showcase your talents and nab the job of your dreams. Mars can only visit this part of your chart for six weeks every two years, and you’ve already used up three weeks – if the idea of making a name for yourself in your career interests you, get cracking.

One day NOT to have an interview will be July 17, when Mars will clash with Uranus – you won’t see eye-to-eye with an authority figure and may find yourself in hot water when a certain question provokes you. Stay home on July 17!

The following day, July 18, when your ruler, Venus, in air-sign Gemini, will contact Jupiter in Libra, you will have a wonder day, especially for all your efforts, from career and academic subjects, to legal matters, travel, or anything involving international commerce.

Some of the most enjoyable days of the month will come at month’s end, when action Mars will move out of your career house on July 20 to light your eleventh house of friends and fun until September 5 – the latter day being the day after the American holiday, Labor Day, an easy way to remember the length of this trend. Any Libra, living anywhere in the northern hemisphere, will have a joyous summer. My readers in Brazil, Australia, Columbia, South Africa, and other places down under, you will be in winter, but how nice to have friends and new people who are about to enter your life bring the golden warmth of friendship.

Aside from having Mars about to build a bonfire of fun in your friends and events sector, which is sure to get your attention, you will also have an energetic new moon in the same house on July 23. This new moon will give you more reason to feel your friends, groups, and possibly a humanitarian / charitable effort will soon become the center of your attention. Next month the solar eclipse on August 21 will touch this very same area of your chart, bringing essentially two new moons in a row in your joyful eleventh house. This area rules not only friends and people who have the potential of becoming your friends, but also social groups such as social and professional clubs, tenant committees, and political or community groups. You may also find that increasingly in future weeks you will be among many people, such as at a trade show, conference, seminar, or athletic competitions and games.

The eleventh house also is the house ruling your dearest hopes and wishes, where a long-held dream can come true, and with Mars and remarkably, two new moons in a row heading there, you will have an outstanding chance to see that happen. Keep working toward your goals – you are closer than you think to victory.

All month, you will have Venus touring the friendly-to-Libra sign of Gemini, from July 4 to 30. Although June was an ideal time for you to travel, if, for any reason, if you did not get your chance to enjoy a vacation, you will get a second chance to do so this month in late month. Choose to leave when a gaggle of planets will convene in Leo after July 23, a time you’ll certainly have the most carefree, fun time. Judging by your chart, nothing earth-shattering will likely occur at the office in late month, so you will be able to go, confident no one from the office will be calling you for help.

If you want a mini-vacation in terms of a long weekend away, then choose July 14-16, sure to be a magical time for you.

Over the weekend of July 29-30, you’ll have a ravishing weekend, filled with flirtation and fun, when Venus and Uranus trade signals. All Libras will be included, whether you are single or attached.
