What to do first, dear Sagittarius? Focus on home? Career? Love life? Every part of your life seems brilliantly lit, but at different times of the month. I will help you with your timing so that you can get the most productivity out of this busy month. You certainly do have a lot on your plate, yet all of it is exciting and you seem eager to roll up your sleeves and get to your task. Try your best to finish up talks and most important actions early in the month, for Mercury, the planet of communication, negotiation, contracts, and commerce, will go retrograde next month, April 9 to May 3, and you should never initiate actions close to those dates.

As you start March, consider making your home and family your first priority. You will have a sterling opportunity to be productive there, for the solar new moon in Pisces 8 degrees that recently occurred on February 26, was to bring change and improvement to your home sector. I am not sure why you are so focused on your home, whether you are building, renovating, designing, moving, painting, or finding a new roommate, but you seem near-obsessed. Because you have Mercury, Neptune, Sun, and new moon eclipse, something is either already going on there or is about to happen soon. It might be that you have little choice, for with so many heavenly bodies in Pisces, you may be dealing with a water-related matter that needs your fast attention.

Pisces, the sign all these planets are moving through in your home sector, is also a highly creative sign, so you may be motivated to update the look of your home. No matter what the reason, you can now make progress, thanks to the appearance of that solar eclipse.

Pluto, although ten degrees away in aspect to the eclipse and hence a bit far, is, nevertheless, just close enough to be helpful. If you have to take down a wall in your house or apartment, or put up a wall to make an extra room, Pluto governs this type of activity, as well as the foundations of a building and the basement, and so you might be interested in one of these areas too. Alternatively, it may that a repair has (or soon will) become absolutely necessary and that you won’t have much choice but to ask the workers in to fix the matter as quickly as possible.

Transiting Saturn will be at hard angle to the eclipse, so as you enter March, you may feel the project is costing more than you estimated. All you can do is get a number of estimates, be realistic, and be careful about the person you choose to help you make the renovations or repairs. The lowest bid is not always the best bid, of course, and that’s why calling for references could make it clear which company you should decide to choose.

Eclipses are far more powerful than any normal new or full moon that comes by each month. The one that came on February 26 in Pisces 8 degrees will be the last in the family of Virgo-Pisces eclipses. (These two signs are joined because both are 180 degrees apart and therefore on the same axis.) The first eclipse in this series came in March 2015, so your home situation or relationship with your family may have been gradually shifting and evolving into something more relevant to the “you” as you have grown and matured.

Keep to the program, because soon you will need to switch your attention to your career at the full moon, March 12 in Virgo. That full moon will light up your career, because it will fall in your solar tenth house of career achievement and honors. You are likely to see a professional matter reach a culmination within four days of this March 12 date. If you have been interviewing for a top position, news about whether you won the job will come at this time. Or, you may be finishing up a very detailed project that had many bits and pieces and that required you to pay much attention to detail. If you are a scientist working in the medical field, you may have a breakthrough concerning a new drug or procedure that might be able to help a large number of people with certain conditions.

Pluto will be very friendly to this full moon from his perch in your second house of earned income, so whatever happens on or near this full moon, you seem to be able to make more money. Saturn will press on you at this time, however, so money will come in and money will go out for obligations that must be met.

Mars will underscore your emphasis on your work by moving into Taurus on March 9 just days before the full moon, March 12.  Mars will focus you on a specific project that seems to come in soon. Here we have two separate and unrelated planetary signals that point to the same conclusion: your work life is likely to be a priority once you get near the full moon March 12 and beyond, straight into late April. Mars will energize your workaday sector for six weeks, so you appear to be in line for a series of new assignments (or one large assignment) that will keep you busy for weeks. If you are self-employed, business will be brisk.

After the new moon, March 27, you will be positively bursting with original ideas, making it an ideal time to start a creative project.

Two planets will soon start to retrograde, and they involve two personal planets, that is, the planets that orbit close to earth – Venus (this month and next month) and in April, Mercury. The so-called personal planets spin close to earth and therefore are felt more directly than the outer planets that are found farther out in space.

Venus will retrograde from March 4 to April 15 in your house of love and children. You may want to slow a love relationship if you feel it’s been moving too fast, or you may change your mind about someone you are dating. Or, you may change a decision regarding something you hoped to do for one of your children, say, a school you may have chosen for your child, or special lessons you had hoped to provide. All retrograde planets, especially the personal ones, ask us to reconsider, reassess, reexamine, and readdress things.

Venus may be IN your house of true love and children, where you may make changes, but in your solar chart, Venus also RULES your sixth house of work projects. A project may require a number of changes as it progresses. If you are in sales, don’t trust you have it, not until the purchase order is signed and a deposit on the job is in your bank account. Things may change quite a bit this month. If your venture is one that is of primary interest to women, Venus retrograde can cause delays, for Venus rules women’s subjects and products.

Whether you are male or female, with the planet of good looks in retrograde (Venus), don’t do any experimental dermatological treatments, nor a face lift or other plastic surgery, Botox, or fillers until Venus is done with its retrograde (March 4 to April 15). Ideally, you can wait until Venus is back to former strength (May 18). You are dealing with the attractiveness to your face here, and I want to be sure you like the results you get in the end. Do not make a radical change in hair color, say from brunette to blonde, or for men, to suddenly shave off your beard. Either sex should not buy new expensive sunglasses or optional (but not urgent) eyeglass frames. In terms of eyeglasses, however, if, you NEED new glasses, do not wait – get them now.

To complicate things a little more, Mercury, the planet of communication, negotiation, commerce, and ruling all electronic items, will retrograde next month, starting April 9 to May 3, and return to full strength on May 20. (Venus returns to full strength on May 18.)

You should not sign a contract, start a new position, or hire anyone new during Mercury retrograde. You also should not buy any electronic products during the retrograde, and for safety, I always leave a space of several days to the beginning and end dates of Mercury retrograde. If you need a new computer, smart phone, or other electronic item, buy it quickly in March or if it is not an urgent purchase, wait until late May. If you need to install new software in your computer, do it in March, not April or early May. If you need a new car, ideally see if you can wait until late May or June. I always prefer buying such an expensive item with many electronic elements in it AFTER the retrograde is over by many weeks, and not anywhere near the next retrograde, which will come August 12-September 5, 2017.

Your solar tenth house of fame and honors is ruled by Mercury, so when this planet is retrograde next month (April 9-May 3), career matters will lag, and you might have a temporary delay or project setback. Watch to see what happens on March 12 when you have a positive full moon in Virgo that will affect your career so strongly – it is the only one full moon in Sagittarius’ career house a year – this will be it. Do your best to complete any talks you may be having at that time. The full moon will help you get solid closure

Finally, good news! The new moon, March 27, in Aries 8 degrees, will spark your romantic life, for that new moon will energize your fifth house of true love. If you are single and hoping to find the right person for you to love, this is your chance to begin to circulate. It will be your best point in 2017 to socialize, meet, and greet. Your most likely place to meet will be at work, or at the gym, or when participating in or watching a sport.

So many planets will come to your aid to help you enjoy life more, and that includes more fun for attached couples too. Venus, Mercury, Uranus, the Sun, and new moon will all be cheering for you, and if you can take a vacation at the end of March, I am all for it, even if you can only go for a long weekend. Meanwhile, Jupiter, giver of gifts and luck, now in your eleventh house of hopes and wishes, will also be sending energy from 180 degrees away from your eleventh house of hopes and wishes, pinging powerful, golden energy to your love sector. This is a good time to relax, have fun, and to give affection and have it returned.

This same sector rules other parts of your life too, including pregnancy, birth, and the care of children. The number one question these days that comes from women and men is, when can I conceive? Of course, that is partly a medical question, but apart from that, I would say that this would be your best time this year to try for conception: March 27 plus two weeks. If you have children, this is the time to enjoy them, to take them on a little family vacation, or to make special plans for them, such as for camp in the summer, or lessons to help them develop a budding talent you’ve noticed.

Your creative energies also fall under the fifth house, and with the crowd of planets supporting your every move at month’s end, after the new moon, March 27, you will be positively bursting with original ideas, making it an ideal time to start a creative project. If you feel you’ve plateaued on one, try to reboot, perhaps by taking courses, or mixing with others in your field at conferences and trade shows. If you have an idea for a new app or software that has never seen the light of day, this would be an ideal time to sign the work order for the team to start work, or if your team has already been working on it, to bring it to market. I say this because the new moon, Sun, Mercury, Uranus, and Venus are in Aries, the most entrepreneurial of all signs.

If your birthday falls within five days of November 29, you will feel the effects of this new moon, March 27, the most. The same is true if you have Sagittarius rising or the natal moon at 8 degrees, plus or minus five degrees. Similarly, if you have your chart, look to see if you have a natal planet in Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Gemini, Libra or Aquarius at 8 degrees, plus or minus five degrees.

Summary

As you enter March, your mind will be strongly on your home living conditions and improvements you would like to make. This comes due to a very powerful new moon solar eclipse that occurred February 26 and that will be influential through March, and possibly for months ahead, particularly in regard to real estate. No matter what you are trying to achieve, you will have the wherewithal to do it.

Water in connection with the home might be a problem, however, and if so, you likely already know that to be true, or soon will, so take precautions. If you are involved in a decorating project, you will be inspired by tender Neptune to create a dream of an environment – soft, inviting, and ultimately comfortable. As you see, Neptune has two sides, to inspire but also to confuse, or to bring difficulties with water.

By the full moon, March 12, you will need to redirect your attention to news going on in your career. Saturn will test your courage and determination, so you may have to finesse a tight, sticky, or challenging career situation, or you were given quite a bit of work to handle and you are coming to the end of the project. Pluto will be at your side to help you get on top of things, and if you concentrate on the many last-minute details that you will have to oversee, you will be able to become a force to be reckoned with in your industry.

Pluto is currently in your second house of earned income, so whatever is happening within four days of this full moon will help you earn a large sum of money. If you are self-employed, you may finish an important project that will bring you acclaim along with a large payment from a client. If you work for others, you may be negotiating a new job and bigger title, one that will come with an impressive rise in salary.

It looks like you’ll be working hard most of the month into next, for Mars will enter your assignment center from March 9 to April 21. If you do get the new job this month, or are finishing up a project, it looks like the success of what you do will instantly earn you more prestigious clients or assignments. In the meantime, you may be able to hire staff to help you get the coming heavy flow work done, whether at work or at home, or both.

Lucky for you, despite the heavy emphasis on home and career, fun and love are on the agenda too, thanks to the new moon, March 27. Just when you assumed it would be highly unlikely for you to see exciting love occur on such an important turning-point month, Cupid will send his little fleet of angels to help you enjoy love. No matter what your marital status, much more fun and excitement seem destined to come to you now.

If you are single, circulate as much as possible after March 27, and continue doing so for two weeks. If you meet someone, this relationship may stay in your heart a long time, possibly forever. The most likely place you would meet will be at work, or at the gym, but not at a party. The person you become interested in will likely be a leader type, possibly self-employed and a self-starter, or someone who is a successful athlete.

If you have been dating seriously, it appears both you and your partner have been under stress, so this is your cue to be lighthearted and flirtatious with your long-term partner, for the response will be just what you had hoped. Take a vacation together if you can, and it need not be to a distant location – a little time away will do you a world of good. If you are not dating but married, the same advice applies. In your case, additionally, you also seem to be very fixed on moving, streamlining, or improving the look of your home and that would be the right idea.

Still, even with so much on your plate, you, too, need diversion and fun – at month’s end you will get it.
