上个月三妈的预言准了，准了……楼主和男票分手了。但是我想尽早结束一段不合适的恋情未尝不是一件好事呢？2016年的最后一天和最好的朋友（偷偷喜欢着的一个男生）一起看电影，吃烤鸭，他还送了我新年礼物和heater（因为之前说过家里太冷），完美结束上一年。在2017年，希望每一位看到这篇运势的朋友都有快乐和分享幸福的能力。Happy New Year!

After a very social, busy December, you will welcome the quiet softness of January. You won’t have to be ready to move at the speed of light as you return to work after the holiday, for Mercury will be still retrograde until January 8, giving you time to collect your thoughts and assemble your agenda. Sometimes having Mercury retrograde is a good condition, for you can take things slow and easy.

Still, you never know when Mercury will strike. I am always careful when I am in my favorite coffee shop working hard on Astrology Zone. (I keep changing venues after I do each sign.) I was sitting in Dunkin Donuts because I love that their counter, which looks out on the avenue, because it is low for my wrists, and the window offers a great panoramic view. I always put my coffee 10 inches away from my computer.

Two days ago, when I was writing Libra, a man pushed his way onto the counter, pushing my computer to the right so hard that it slammed into my coffee. I grabbed the cup immediately, but in a panic, I knew I was in trouble. The manager understood the situation and gave me paper towels, but I didn’t say anything to the man who seemed oblivious to the quiet catastrophe going on next to him with me. I hailed a taxi to Apple instantly.

Long story short: my damaged computer will take close to $1,200 to fix and two weeks (Apple suggested a place nearby that might be able to do it sooner, but it turned out to be the same). I cannot wait even an hour for a new computer, so I bought one on the spot. The new laptop is costing me $3,000, for I need lots of memory, five new AC cords (one for each suitcase, and each room I write in), a new Microsoft Word, and of course, Apple Care. I will fix the damaged MacBook Air that was only a year old. The hard drive is fine and not damaged, but the display needs to be replaced.

I got home and looked at my feet, I had on two ballet flats, but one shoe was red, one was black. How did I do that? I think I am overworked. I touched my ear: noticed one earring was missing. I then opened a box from the bookstore that just arrived, a book that I sent to myself so I could wrap the book, a gift for my brother-in-law. I was wondering why it took so long to come – now I knew. I had ordered in Spanish by mistake, not English. I ordered some pretty makeup brushes for myself as a treat but sent them in error to my Diana in Los Angeles. She was so happy, she said how did you know this is what I always wanted? I laughed – how about that? Of course­­­­­ I want her to have them. This all happened in one day. Will I survive Mercury retrograde? I’m not sure! The slow start to January will also be encouraged by planets stacking in your twelfth house of reflection. This theme was prompted by the new moon of December 29, a fairly sweet one, and will fall in Capricorn 8 degrees. This new moon will receive a good beam from Mars, which is now in your earned income house, so you may make money on a new work project or sale of something you own in early January. It is also possible that you may sell a creative idea in early January, for you have a very supportive Neptune, the planet that promotes the arts. Neptune is in your house of income too.

It is also a good time to muse about what you would like to achieve by this time next year. The ancient astrologers feel that it is important to plan several new goals for the coming birthday year, and your birthday is coming up soon, maybe as soon as later this month. The twelfth house is the house of the subconscious, so it’s a good time to address a habit you might like to change or delete. You can solicit help from a coach or special group, or go to a therapist, and then start your birthday year with comforting support. Your intuition will be VERY strong this month too, so be sure to listen to it, as any hunches you get will be given to you for a reason.

It appears you have been spending more money than usual lately, ever since Mars entered your solar second house of earned income December 19. You might say that everyone spends a lot of money for the holidays. Yes, that is true, but your spending is higher than most other signs except Leo, who has the same situation. Your check writing will calm down once you get to month’s end, when Mars enters Aries on January 28 and will coax you to take a little weekend trip for rest and rejuvenation.

The full moon of January 12 in Cancer 22 degrees will require you to finish up an important work project. Keep an eye on things, to make sure nothing goes off the rails. This full moon is mixed in outlook. On the plus side, Mars will be in an ideal position toward that full moon, and again, you could see money as a result. However, Uranus, your ruling planet, will not be friendly to that full moon, nor will Jupiter. This suggests that travel will NOT go smoothly at this time, plus or minus four days.

This full moon would not be the time to sign a contract, especially if it is for a work project, as you would be building into the life of the endeavor Uranus’ hard aspects. I am also concerned that Pluto is in hard angle to the full moon, opposing it directly, suggesting someone will be very heavy handed to get you to follow his or her dictates. It is alternatively possible that someone behind the scenes will try to steal the thunder for your good work, but is doing a power play under the radar, not out in the open. Or, it may be that a competitor will try some sort of move. You will have to keep your wits about you.

If a project goes well, and no one is taking credit for your work, it could be that you will feel this full moon in matters of health. If the person who is telling you what to do in a strong, off-putting way, it might be a doctor. In that case, you can always very quickly get another opinion from another doctor who has a better way of interacting with you. You do have to watch your health near the full moon, January 12, plus or minus four days, as you may be working hard on getting that strenuous project out, possibly with some subordinate staff absent.

Everything improves by time you get to the new moon in Aquarius, 8 degrees, January 27-28. That new moon has none of the crosscurrents of the full moon, so everything will be calm and bright. We only get one new moon a year in our own sign, and when that happens, you can use the energy of that new moon in any way you please. Earlier in the month, you may have been meditating on what you’d like to achieve in your birthday year. Keep those thoughts in mind, for you can now take steps toward accomplishing that dream.

When you act just after a new moon in your own sign, an annual event, the force is with you. That will happen January 27-28 and you will have the following ten days to take steps toward your dream. You are the new moon’s favorite, and overall, this year, you have splendid support from Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, in a fellow air-sign, Libra, until October 10, 2017. This is extraordinary, for the universe will fully support you on many levels.

Mars will move out of Pisces on January 28, as said, and that will be a relief, as your spending will return to normal levels. Venus and Mars will be very close at month’s end, suggesting more good news about money will come to you near January 26-27.

Once Mars enters Aries on January 28, you will get a chance to travel. You may not go far, but you surely will enjoy your trips, and some may be taken spontaneously. You may be negotiating a contract, and February would be a good time to sign. Avoid March, however, when Venus will begin to retrograde. Also, if you have any plans to change your appearance, do it in the last week of January or any time in February, not March or April.

Next month, we have two eclipses, February 10 and February 26. Remarkably, these eclipses are supportive and positive, and won’t cause the havoc many eclipses have been known to do. Change will be on the way, but you will welcome them when they arrive.

This year is remarkable in that your ruler, Uranus, will be in ideal angle to Saturn, a trend that first started December 24 last month and will continue throughout the New Year. You’ve not seen cosmic support like this in ages, and after 2017 is over, you won’t have Saturn and Uranus in such a buddy-buddy collaboration again until 2047. This is special! Uranus is the planet of innovation and the future, and Saturn is the planet that stabilizes everything it touches. What wonderful news you have to begin your New Year!

The holidays have you tuckered out, so as the New Year begins, take life slow and easy. Your friends think of you as very friendly and gregarious, and you are that way for sure, but what they don’t know about you is that you have an equal and opposite need to be alone occasionally so that you can refresh, regroup, and revitalize your spirit.
