Capricorn Forecast for November 2015

You have a beautiful chart at the moment, for it shows a lovely balance between career success and time for romance and friends too. Last month, October, we had a very difficult new moon on October 12 in your prestigious tenth house of fame, honors, and achievement, so in the weeks that followed, you may have had a few nightmares in regard to one or more important projects that went off the rails and that you had to rush to fix.

Also in October, Mercury was retrograde early in the month, a situation that started September 17 and ended October 9, but it was not until October 27 that Mercury returned to former strength. Because Mercury was retrograding in your most prestigious career sector (solar tenth house), this is where you saw delays that might have forced you to rethink, readdress, or redo a project. No doubt you were forced to be flexible when things went wrong or when personnel who reported to you slacked off, messed up their work, or were missing in action. It was enough to make you want to pull your hair out.

This month, by comparison, your career will proceed in smoother form. You will have to deal with a somewhat stressful full moon at month's end, but compared to what you've been through, it should be a piece of cake to handle. You will have a sweet breather of three weeks where you can make plans and not worry that someone will unexpectedly jump out of a potted plant behind you to torpedo your plans. That won't happen in November! Let's go through the month from the top for the first three weeks are special - you will be able to get lots done.

November starts out with a conjunction of Venus and Mars on November 2 in your ninth house of travel, matters related to academia, the media, the courts and legal actions, and your relationship with foreign people, including import and export of ideas, goods, or services. Venus and Mars will keep your interactions with people who work in one of these fields smooth in the first ten days of November, and your natural charm will get you far.

If you weren't traveling overseas to a foreign country, you certainly have been generating lots of good will with a company based in a foreign country or your own country if the company has a foreign connection or specializes in a special market, such as the Latino market or the Asian, for example, that can teach people who are not part of that nationality how to approach people of that group in a business sense. You have Jupiter, giver of gifts and luck, in the ninth house, so this area is very special for you and should work out to be quite profitable this year - you will have all the way to September to see the fruits of your labors. Jupiter's presence suggests that the seeds you plant now should grow like Jack and the Beanstalk's beans, straight to the heavens.

If you need funding from your company for a project, or if you are self-employed and you need venture capital or a line of credit from the bank, for example, put in your application on November 5 when the mighty Sun and powerhouse Pluto will be in sync. On a personal level you will do well too, so, for example if you are filling out applications for a student loan, scholarship, or financial aid, this will be a powerful day for your finances, too. Make good use of it.

One of the four-star days of the month will be November 10, when the Sun and Jupiter will interact in a supremely friendly and supportive way. The Sun rules your eighth house of other people's money - the kind of funds listed above for all types of funds outside of salary - so November 10 will be another glittering day for you to find funding. With Jupiter in your ninth house of foreign people / foreign places and the other areas listed earlier for the ninth house, you will do exceedingly well on November 10. Be sure to schedule an important meeting with a VIP on this day.

The beautiful new moon - this time super supportive - will appear in your house of friends / fun / new acquaintances / social groups and fun in Scorpio 19 degrees, on November 11. After the horrible new moon we all went through last month, the universe must have felt a little guilty and now sends the most darling, encouraging new moon of 2015. You have been working hard, but this new moon will open the door to weeks of social fun. If you are attached, you will get more time and attention from your partner, and if single, you may meet someone new through the kind introduction of a friend.

The reason I am so excited about this new moon is that it will get the golden beams from both Jupiter AND financial Pluto in Capricorn. Pluto rules Scorpio, the sign of the new moon - this is a very good sign that this new moon will go the distance for you. As you socialize, not only will you have fun, but it looks as though you will get tips about finding funding or in getting ahead in other ways in your career. Pluto and Jupiter will be in rare sync with each other, which is extraordinary. Usually we have to wait years to see Jupiter and Pluto in a "trine" position (from the word triangle) - the most harmonious aspect you can ever wish to see, aside from a friendly conjunction, which is also amazing. (Jupiter and Pluto will conjoin in 2020.) These two planets move very slowly. It takes Pluto 248 years to circle the Sun, and it takes Jupiter 12 years to make the same journey, so you can imagine how hard it is to get these two to cooperate on anything! This month they will, on your behalf.

You may see a friend go out of his or her way for you, and when that happens, you would be very touched by how much a friend cares about your welfare. It's also the ideal time to join a club, whether social, political, humanitarian, or professional. Put in your application AFTER the new moon arrives November 11 for best results. Nothing will happen (ever) before a new moon arrives, but after it appears, you will feel a big blast of fresh wind blow through your window! You will be very energized! This is a good new moon for you, dear Capricorn! If you do join a club, be sure to attend some of the functions, for this month you may make many new friends.

If your birthday falls on January 19, plus or minus five days, you will benefit the most from this glorious new moon. If you know your natal chart, see if you have Capricorn rising, or the moon, or another natal planet in Capricorn, Virgo, or Taurus at 19 degrees, plus or minus five degrees. If you have this natal planet, you will benefit too.ÿ

Your career will move along in a much smoother way this month too. Venus will enter your career sector on November 8 to stay until December 5, so you will be VERY popular with VIPs and those underlings who report to you. I see Venus in the tenth house of prestigious career leadership (as you will have now) as a signature of the popular, benevolent ruler.

Mars will enter this same house (remarkable!) on November 12 until January 3 and bring you and your work lots of attention. Mars brings lots of activity, and unlike last month when the activity may have been going temporarily in the wrong direction, this month, Mars will keep things lively and vibrant. You won't have any trouble getting your foot in the door of top-level people who you need to see, so pick up the phone and make appointments. If you are not employed but want to be, this is great news - I feel you can make the MOST career progress of 2015 in early November.

As one friend named Gordon who was in sales used to say to me (Gordon sat near my desk when I worked in publishing), "I'm dialing for dollars today!" (Gordon was hysterically funny, but he was always right!) I want YOU to dial for dollars after November 12 too, even if you don't technically work in sales. In a way, everyone in any organization "sells" all the time, whether you are the president or the intern. It's the way you treat clients or customers that makes all the difference - be sincerely warm and helpful, and you are off on the right foot. This month you seem to have the magic touch, so you should be very productive in your work in November.

One day when demands of work and home and family might collide will be November 23, when Venus will receive a challenge from unpredictable Uranus. You won't see this coming, so keep your antenna up. Somehow you will need to juggle the needs of both areas of your life on that day, but it might not be easy, as this tug on you in both directions will come up unexpectedly.

A more important date is the full moon in Gemini on November 25. This full moon will fall in your workaday sector (which is very different from the tenth house of prestigious career reputation that I have been talking about so far). This house rules the actual assignments you are working on a day-to-day basis.

It seems you will have to deliver a finished project by this full moon, but there is trouble with it. Saturn will conjoin the moon, suggesting to me that you may have to do more work on it, and it seems to be an arduous task. Saturn will oppose the Sun, too (and reach perfect mathematical conjunction by Sunday, November 29), so financially you may be thinking that you are sinking more and more time and money into this project. You may be self-employed, explaining why the money being spent is concerning you (it may be coming out of your pocket), or if you work for the company you may be worried that with year-end budget, you may come up short and wonder how you will make ends meet.

Saturn is your ruler, so you deal much better with these types of situations than most. Now there is another aspect you need to know about, also happening next to the full moon. Saturn and Neptune will challenge one another to help us think about what's real (Saturn) versus what we wish and hope something or someone to be (Neptune). This clash between opposites at 90-degree angles, considered an obstacle, is a hint that these days, all of us need to be objective and real to succeed. There are times to present the big idea, with the full sweep of imaginative additions to the project, but it appears the bean counters in accounting will ask you to trim your plan to conform with their budgets. If this makes you sad to hear, I am with you, dear Capricorn. Everything in my being is geared toward perfection, so if you are that way too, sometimes it is not possible to get all done in the way we imagine it to be. This same aspect will be repeated on June 17 and September 10, 2016, and so this theme will be at play throughout most of 2016 too.

When you see an aspect occur in the same way three times like the challenge of Saturn to Neptune, two very slow-moving planets, you have a possibility for enlightenment and transformation. After we get to September 2016, you won't have this directive, but you will have cleverly found ways to do more with the budgets you are given. After September 2016, this clash of Saturn and Neptune will end, so you will likely have bigger budgets. Right now, however, you will need to be objective and realistic, and work with the financial people if you are to make your plan a reality.

Saturn conjunct the moon, and later the Sun, over the week that spans November 25-29 is a deflating one. You may feel weary and worn out, and if you get criticism from someone, you may feel depressed, but keep reminding yourself that this feeling is only temporary. I promise, by the start of December, you will feel better. Take what others say to you as good feedback, but don't allow anyone to crush your self-esteem. This span of days coincides with the US Thanksgiving Day four-day holiday, so I am sorry to see Saturn so active at this point of the year. If you are having guests over, and you are doing all the cooking, ask for help. See if you can also get guests to bring a specialty dish to contribute to the dinner, to make your workload lighter. (It could be fun having guests bringing their favorite dishes - it adds serendipity to the meal.)

When it comes to romance and fun, your best days will occur in the first week of November. Friday night, November 6, will have the moon in Virgo, and the transiting moon will be conjunct happy-go-lucky Jupiter in Virgo (an earth sign like yours). That's your perfect night to go out on a date. Mercury will cooperate with Neptune, making it an ideal night to see a movie or a ballet, or go to a concert.

The first week of November is also your best for finding beautiful things to wear for the coming season, so do some focused shopping!

The first ten days of November will be your best. Perfect for travel, taking qualifying tests at the university, or for defending your thesis, your mind will be sharp and filled with ideas. Mars will move into your honors and awards career sector from November 11 to January 3, 2016, assuring you that you can end 2015 on a celebratory career note. Last month's new moon, October 12, was troublesome and brought up professional obstacles. Now Mars is ready to enter Libra and fill the pinnacle point of your solar horoscope, so Mars can now bring you the kind of exciting career attention you used to dream about. Although last month's new moon did not give you the possibilities you needed to get ahead, you may be surprised how differently your career goes this month - much easier. You can accomplish anything you set out to do when you have Mars' booster rocket behind you in your career sector, an advantage you will enjoy for six weeks now, and that comes by only every two years.

You've probably been wondering when you'll have time to enjoy romance and time to see friends, and this month, at the year's most sparkling new moon, November 11 - the very best new moon of 2015 - you will see your social life kick into high gear. You will have time to see friends and enjoy life. Jupiter will be very active at this new moon, suggesting that you may be invited to a luxurious event sometime in the two weeks that follow this new moon - a dress-up event, with many new people who will be open, friendly, and successful, and who will be interested in you, too. You will want to know one or two people you meet better, so make the first move and make an offer to get together soon for lunch.

The full moon on November 25 will bring up a weighty situation. Saturn rules your Capricorn Sun, so you tend to deal well with Saturn's demands. This full moon will have Saturn's fingerprints all over it. The hardest day might be November 29, when Saturn conjoins the Sun, curtailing your cash flow. A close relationship in love or business may also be tense from November 26-29, but should improve in a day or two afterward. Also at month's end, a rare aspect, Saturn (reality) in hard angle to Neptune (dreams) on November 26, will urge you to see things as they are, not has you wish them to be, for that will be the only way to succeed now and in the coming year of 2016. Life won't always be that way, but will be now.

Romantically, you will be catnip to admirers in the first ten days of November, while Venus and Mars, the two cosmic lovers, will be in fellow earth sign Virgo. Circulate if you are single, and celebrate your love for your partner with a beautiful dinner out if you are attached.
