Each month you will see that the new emphasis is on your personal life, a delicious development that will allow you to direct more attention there, and experience the warmth and beauty of having a home and family to come home to at the end of each day. Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, introduced this trend on August 11, and it is to continue a year, to September 9, 2016. You may now see powerful family support for a dream you have, such as to buy a house or apartment. No matter what, you will now be able to buy, sell, lease, or rent a dream space, one that is large, with lots of sun, big closets, and even offer a view.

To be sure you notice this trend, the universe sent a new moon solar eclipse on September 12-13, and you may have seen an opportunity come up. You may have found the perfect apartment to rent, or your parents, or other member of your family, may have offered to give you a cash gift or loan to help you make a down payment on your first house, as one example of nearly limitless possibilities. Or, you may be getting ready to renovate your kitchen or bath, an exciting prospect. One member of your family may be expecting a baby and giving you reason for celebration. Sometimes an eclipse will deliver its news one month to the day later, plus or minus five days, so if you haven't heard any news yet, you may hear near October 12.

This month, more energy will be directed to this house, with active Mars spending the entire month in your home / family sector, a holdover from September 24. Mars will remain in this area until November 12. Mars' job is to set the agenda and show where your attention will be, so it's clear it's on home, hearth, and family. This is the time of the year that you will make your most important strides in any home-related goal. If you are not ready to take action, I urge you to look at your options and start a folder where you gather estimates and other information you will need to have before you make a choice of contractor, mover, or where you'll want to buy your furniture, mattress, accessories, and more. Having done your homework, with all costs listed, will allow you to swing into action next year without delay, very possibly in March.

Venus will also enter this part of your chart on October 8 and remain there until November 8. What a trio of planets you have now in your home sector with Jupiter (luck), Venus (beauty and grace), and Mars (action). You will have the option to do stylish entertaining too this month, and any gathering you give would be a hit and talked about for weeks - even months.

An upcoming weekend that would be outstanding for you to entertain friends and family would be October 17-18, thanks to the rare conjunction of Mars and Jupiter. If you are not ready to give a party, this special weekend will be perfect for looking at spaces for a new house or apartment, or to go shopping to choose new furniture, accessories, linens, tableware, or other stylish items to pretty up your home. This is a very rare aspect, one that happens every two years, but in Virgo (in your home sector) only every twelve years. You will get enormous luck from Jupiter, so, for example, you may luck into a gorgeous new apartment, or you may get your perfect piece of furniture on sale. Jupiter always brings opportunity and also the means to take advantage of it. How special this will be! Venus and Mars will add such warmth and happiness. When it comes to real estate, redecorating, decluttering, making important repairs, or doing maintenance, this will be one lucky weekend.

For Gemini things often come in twos, and this month is no exception - here is another rare day that will be perfect for seeing a lucky break in home related matters, October 24. On that day Venus will be aligned precisely with Jupiter, making for exceptional luck for all the areas I just outlined for your home situation above. Keep in mind that this aspect only happens in Virgo and your home sector every twelve years. This will be a weekend date too, just like October 17 - you will feel the energy build as you get to Friday, October 23, and still feel it on Sunday, October 25. Your house of home and family will have little fantasy emoji hearts bursting skyward - it's that great.

As you start October, keep in mind that your ruler, Mercury, will still be retrograde, a holdover from September 17. Mercury will go direct on October 9. It would be best not to sign papers until well after October 9. If you get a new job, you may have to take it, as great jobs are hard to find but know that the job description will likely change. It would not be wise to open a new business during the first nine days of the month, or launch a new product or service. The exception is if you go back to your past to do something doing.

Here's an example of making a big decision during Mercury retrograde, but it's a fine time to do it. I felt my app, which has won awards, could be made even better. So I called Phunware, my app developer in Austin, Texas, and said, "Let's get ready to launch a second version - 2.0 - for iPhone, Android, and Samsung Galaxy." I wanted to add video links, improved navigation, and other special features to surprise my readers. Because I am not creating an entirely new product, but instead working on an existing one to improve it, I signed the work order during Mercury retrograde last month. I imagine I'll need to make many little corrections before I sign off on the finished product, but that is usual when you are creating an app. It will take Phunware some time to write the code and do the design, so by the time it is done Mercury will not be retrograde anymore. I will let you know when it is ready. So you see, there are times when it is okay to take action during a retrograde.

Mercury is always pleased when you go back to an earlier time to polish something up. By the way, when my new version of my app is done, you won't have to buy my app again. The upgraded version will simply flow in automatically into the first version of my app that you already have on your phone. That happens when you upgrade your apps on your own cell phone, and when it comes to my app, push the button "restore subscription." (I am on the Apple watch too with a little bubble! You don't have to buy that software for the watch either - it will not require you use wires or do downloads - the software Phunware already wrote for me will flow in automatically to the watch by Bluetooth - the sweet Apple elves will help you get it all set up. Sometimes you just can't wait to do something important when Mercury is retrograde. There will always be adjustments, but if you are working on a previous project, it's all okay.

October 11 has two sides to it. The first side is difficult - Uranus will oppose the Sun directly. This will be a very draining aspect where you may feel worn to the bone. Something will not go right, and you may be shaken by what you hear. A project may go off the rails. Your health may feel off, so go to the doctor if you feel you need a checkup. Plan to get more rest, and if possible book a massage or other pampering treatment to unwind and regroup.

On the very same day, October 11, we have a five-star aspect, where Pluto will be in ideal angle to Jupiter. On this day, you may make a killing in real estate or sell furniture on an auction site. It's also possible this will be the day (or close to it) that you will get a large check from a family member who loves you so much - that will be very clear. This day could work out to be one of your best financial days of 2015. If you are selling property, this day should bring a very high bid.

Now let's turn to look at the difficult new moon in Libra, 19 degrees, that will come up October 12. This new moon will appear in your romantic sector, and Uranus will oppose this new moon from your friendship house and cause jarring news to come up. Pluto will also be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and also apply pressure on that moon. There are many possible ways this may work out, so I will outline them so you can be prepared.

A friend may make a negative comment about the person you are dating, and you may become upset. Or a friend may make a play for the person you are dating, which is an even worse scenario. (Let's hope that does not happen.) The fifth house also rules pregnancy and children, so you may have discussions about a situation that will come up suddenly that you will need to address. The fifth house rules not only love and children, but also all of your creative efforts, so alternatively, you may be focused on a creative project. Pluto is in a financial house, so you may have to give more money and time to a current project, or one of your children may need you to pay for something that child needs that is expensive. A new moon sets up a trend that can last a number of months, so pay special attention to this area of your life now and in the future, but especially in the coming two weeks.

Fortunately, Libra, the sign of the new moon October 12, is an air sign like yours, and that suggests you will find an answer rather quickly to any news that new moon will deliver. If your birthday falls on June 9, you will actually benefit from all that happens at this time. If you have a copy of your natal chart, look to see if you have a planet or have Gemini rising that falls at 19 degrees Gemini (or close, within five degrees). If you have a natal planet at the same position (19 degrees or within five degrees) in Libra, Aquarius, Aries, Leo, or Sagittarius, you too will benefit.

The full moon in Taurus, 4 degrees, at will be very positive for your career. That full moon will light your behind the scenes closed door sector, so something going on without your knowledge appears to working strongly in your favor. At month's end, you may be invited to be on television, or have your face in a magazine with a very positive review of your work. Your imagination and creativity will be working at peak levels, so if you have a project, devote yourself to it over this weekend. Have your perfect outfit ready - you may be given no notice to get ready for your close-up. The emphasis on kudos for your career will continue on October 30, when Neptune will signal the Sun, and again your face appears to be out there for others to see. This entire week, October 25-31, will be made for heartwarming and enviable career progress.

It appears you are clearing out the cobwebs to prepare for a richer emotional life. It may take time to complete the process, but your desire to reach clarity will be worth the effort.

Financially, the rare and special collaboration between Jupiter and Pluto on October 12 (and days leading to this day) should bring good news about an investment and/or a real estate matter. If you begin to renovate your kitchen, for example, you are likely to see your apartment or house appreciate in value quite a bit. This is an important and rare aspect, so take it seriously.

If you need a day to heal and bring back a relationship with a person who gave you grief and heartache, choose October 25, when Venus and Jupiter will align. You could not imagine a more loving aspect.
