You have been working hard and smart for some time, and you may have assumed that your outlook for career is fairly similar to what you've already experienced so far, over the past few years. No, it's about to get so much better, dear Sagittarius! Your outlook for prestigious career gains from now through most of next year is simply spectacular, and if you've not had any indication of this being true quite yet, buckle up! September will make you a believer.

There is a crowd of heavenly bodies moving silently through space toward your solar tenth house of honors, awards, achievement, and fame, and by this month they will all be in a perfect position to give you profound professional opportunity. You can also expect reward for past efforts and the kind of respect you used to dream about.

This trend started quietly last month on August 11, when Jupiter, your ruling planet and giver of gifts and luck, moved into Virgo for the first time in twelve years to expand all the professional opportunities you could ever wish to see. Jupiter will remain in your prestigious career sector from now until September 2016 next year, and although you do have time to see this all play out, this month will be extra special on so many counts. I will explain all of this to you in detail, and you will see why you should be getting your bio, portfolio, and reel ready. Also have your champagne chilled in your refrigerator. You will want to celebrate when all this begins to hit. Every sign enjoys Jupiter's gifts, but each in a different way. Until the eclipse of September 12-13 arrives, sit back, open the window, and see what flies in. It will get so busy you may need to hire help to handle it all. The September 12-13 eclipse in Virgo will be a very positive one. This eclipse will receive stabilizing vibrations from long-term thinking Saturn. Pluto has not been helpful to you lately because Pluto has been asleep in retrograde since mid-April, but he will awaken September 25 this month. This will help your finances enormously. (It is common for a major outer planet of our solar system to be retrograde for four to five months, unlike Mercury, which orbits close to earth and will only retrograde three and a half weeks each time, thank goodness.) If you are waiting for a payment or funding, or are in a dispute with someone over substantial money, this change of Pluto to stronger orbit may be just what you need to settle things. Watch the dates from September 22 to 28 for clues of how events will go for you now that Pluto is coming back on the job again. Listen closely - the clues may be loud, or they may be subtle.

Returning to my discussion with you about your career, to make absolutely sure you take this career period seriously, Mars will enter the picture when he arrives in Virgo after a two-year journey around the Sun, to arrive at the very top of your chart on September 24. Mars will stay until November 12. This will be your headline period of 2015 to make professional headway, so get ready! You may have to wait two years to see anything this powerful, strong, and supportive from Mars again. Think of Mars as the gas you turn on to get your pot boiling - without Mars' energy, it is hard to get that soup started! You would be wise to start key career initiatives at this time, for you will have booster rocket Mars behind you to help you for six weeks.

You'll need to be organized. Mercury will go retrograde from September 17 to October 9 and slow down your projects (and those of everyone else). You won't be able to sign contracts, nor buy any new computer equipment or any machines with moving parts, and that includes a car. You are already too late to do so. If you are reading this and standing on your desk shouting, "I knew it! My special time with Mars is being cut! I am being cheated!" don't feel that way, dear Sagittarius. You will have the time to ponder and perfect your plans from September 24 to October 9 - and "perfect" is a Virgo word if there ever was one! If you are organized, you can press forward from October 9 to November 12.

Here are dates to write on your: October 17 (when Mars and Jupiter combine forces in your house of fame), October 25 (when Venus and Jupiter conjoin there too), and November 2 (when Venus and Mars will meet in your house of fame and honors). These are all outstanding days for career progress.

Being forced to slow down a bit will work in your favor. Being a fire sign, you tend to shoot from the hip without always looking at all sides of a question. Jupiter is in Virgo, a very practical earth sign, so if you want to have the finest expression of Jupiter's help, you will have to act like a Virgo in business affairs in the coming year. People will want your ideas, of course, but Jupiter in Virgo will ask that you nail down all the nuts and bolts. You will need the details, facts, and figures to back up all that you present.

Most importantly, Virgo likes to see that ideas have practical application, so at times you may have to scale down some of your ideas to fit into the client's (or the market's) needs. This can be hard for a visionary sign like yours, for you would normally rather go with the best expression of the idea without it being diluted. Yet certain times call for different responses.

Let's turn now to another theme that is going on in your chart, a situation that appears to have to do with your ninth house. Here is a list of activities that are covered by the ninth house: a relationship with a person or entity abroad, an important journey, any matter involving academia, a legal matter, or one having to do with a publishing or broadcasting matter.

You are hitting all the right high notes in these areas, as Venus and Mars are circulating closely in your ninth house. You need not worry - you are about to impress a VIP in this matter. Mars will remain in this area of your chart, your ninth house, until September 24, so you can make much progress immediately - now.

It is clear you are well liked, so if you have a matter that requires negotiation, at least try to settle on points of agreement. Mercury retrograde will interfere somewhat, but it does not mean you can't continue talks. I am concerned that the full moon at the end of November, November 25, will be a difficult one for you, especially if you are trying to settle a legal dispute. Do all you can to avoid settling on that difficult full moon, as it will not favor your interests. Negotiation then would be hard, and if your birthday falls near that date, you want to try doubly hard to avoid it. You have super aspects now - use them.

Here are two dates that you will make impressive headway:

September 8, when Mars in your ninth house (ruling all the areas listed above) will be in contact with surprise-a-minute Uranus, the planet of genius. Things will go well for you, especially in matters related to creativity, love, and children.

Also circle September 22, when Venus will team up with Uranus, another sparking day when love will be in the air, and your charm can get you anything your heart desires - surprisingly so! You will leave a great impression, whether the matter you are working on is regarding love and social activity, or a creative project. When you are hot, you're hot!

Speaking of love, you have another eclipse this month, a full moon lunar eclipse, on September 27, in Aries, 6 degrees. Again, Saturn will be your helpful buddy and work with you to bring a stable outcome to the topic that comes up. This will be a full moon, so by its very nature it will be more emotional than the earlier eclipse, September 12-13. Still, this is another brilliant point on your timeline. You may discuss a pregnancy, or see your small children do something new, such as go to pre-nursery school. Or, an older child may be off to college. You may now pitch a client and get the green light to move ahead on vital creative project, or you may now finish one and hand it in. (Creativity is also covered by your solar fifth house, as is love and matters related to children.) The fact that this eclipse is falling in Aries suggests something new and pioneering is on the table. It seems no one has walked down his road before, and this very fact will delight you very much.

Aries rules your house of true love, so if you are single, you might meet someone at this time. Conversely, if you are single and dating, but have been miserable, you may now break up. You always have control, dear Sagittarius. If you are attached, this eclipse will not be directed to your relationship - your established alliance falls in the seventh house, not the fifth house where this eclipse will be based. For most dating couples, if there is something that was never discussed that has been troubling you or your partner, it is likely to come out now. Still, I feel you can fix things, so don't become anxious - it's better to know what your partner is thinking than not.

I once had a long-term boyfriend who would never ever tell me when something was troubling him. He would wait until it festered inside him - it could be something very trivial - but if untreated, it would take on larger proportions by the time he was ready to talk about it. This is what destroyed his marriage and caused his divorce before I met him, and I suspect if he doesn't change his ways, it will harm all his future relationships. I suspect it comes from an inability to express his emotions easily, for instead of talking about what is on his mind, I would get a 17-page letter out of nowhere. This is not normal. I tried to always have a soft, welcoming attitude, but in the end, I finally gave up.

An eclipse would bring out hidden resentments - yours or your partner's, even if you never meant to bring up the subject. Somehow eclipses have a way of bringing the information forth. Think back to what happened on April 4 - this eclipse of September 27 will be tied to that one and may advance the conversation you had back then to a new place. I still maintain that this is a positive full moon eclipse and that you will like the outcome. With Saturn acting like a loving relative to see you are protected, you will come out of this eclipse in better shape than when you entered it.

If your birthday falls on November 28, plus or minus five days, you will feel this eclipse directly, and benefit from it. This will be true, even if you don't immediately see the truth of this - but in time, you likely will see what I mean. This eclipse may also help you if you have a natal planet within five degrees of 6 degrees Sagittarius, Aries, Leo, Gemini, Libra, or Aquarius. The eclipse's message will fall in a different area of your life, but you will come out in a very enviable position.

Pluto will be in a strong position to see that you won't have "all glory, no pay" - instead, you'll be in prime negotiating position to name your price and get it. Mars will enter your fame sector too from September 24 to November 12 and push you squarely into the spotlight. Your name will be on the lips of nearly everyone in your industry - this last quarter of the year should bring you all the gratifying progress you always wanted. The realization of the dream will start now.

Although Venus won't yet move direct by September 1, it may turn out to be a very special day, when Venus and Mars - the two cosmic lovers of the zodiac - will make a rare contact in a sign that is perfect for you: Leo. The cosmic lover planet will meet in your travel sector, making it an ideal time to be on vacation. You will exude magnetism, and fun and love won't be far behind.

If you are single, circle September 8 on your calendar, when energetic Mars and surprise-a-minute Uranus, based in your romantic sector, may stir up an intriguing romance when you least expect a fateful meeting to happen. If you are attached, be spontaneous and jovial - your partner will adore seeing your playfulness come out and will be inspired to become that way too.

Travel near September 22 - you may find love in distant places, or fan the fires of love with your present partner.

Love, children, and a creative project will be the topic that will excite you at the emotional total eclipse of the moon on September 27. The outlook is mixed, as this eclipse will receive support from Saturn in Sagittarius, indicating you will be on a mission to create a life of stability and calm, a goal that is now within reach. However, Neptune will oppose Mars, so something about what you learn may be fragmented, confusing, or not fully understandable - don't rush to judgment.
