Taurus Horoscope for August 2015

This will be a big, defining month for you, when things begin to turn in your favor in a very noticeable way. The headline news is that Jupiter, the great good fortune planet, will be moving out of your fourth house of home and family and into your house of true love. I am thrilled to tell you this, dear Taurus, for you, more than most, have had a hard time in matters of the heart.
You have hosted Saturn in your seventh house of committed relationships, giving life lessons in matters of the heart from October 2012 to now. If you had no relationship, you were learning about partnerships in business, and how hard one could be to navigate. At the same time that Saturn was testing you, the eclipses were challenging your closest relationship too, and that went on for two years, starting November 2012 to October 2014. You certainly have had a time of it, and not only were your closest relationships under the microscope, you also may have had problems with your health because of the unusual stress you were under. Now, everything will improve, as life moves from feeling burdensome and heavy to a much lighter and freer existence. As you see, you have two major shifts going on. You have Saturn, the eclipses gone, and you have Jupiter, the golden planet, coming in to help you. Jupiter is a wonder planet, for he asks for nothing in return - he simply wants to make you happy.
Before I show you the lovely aspects coming, I will acknowledge that you had a very tough new moon last month, July 15 (covering the two weeks that followed it), so you may be grappling with some news that is still concerning you. It lit your third house, which rules siblings, so you may be worried about the welfare of a sister or brother, or in a different way that new moon may have worked out, you may be focused on a writing project that has many complexities to it, and that will require much attention to detail. The third house is also the house of travel, so you may have had to go out of town in mid-to-late July. That's the only area of life where you may have to spend a lot of attention in the coming months, but otherwise, your outlook is outstandingly positive.
Let's go back to all the goodness you can expect from Jupiter, the planets of gifts and luck, in the coming nearly thirteen months. Now that Jupiter will be in an earth sign like yours, he can work much harder for you - you will have Jupiter "trine" the Sun, considered an aspect of enormous harmony. The best gift Jupiter may have for you is to help you find true love. You must work with Jupiter, and not be seeking just someone to party with, but a full-fledged partner to love your entire life. If you have already found your one true love, then with Jupiter coming to Virgo starting on August 11, you will have more time to enjoy one another.
If you hope for a baby (my number one question from readers), then you will have the best chance of all the signs to conceive, or to adopt a darling baby. There's also a strong likelihood that you will be able to travel to at least one foreign country within the time Jupiter spends with you, from August 11, 2015 to September 9, 2016.
You may have noticed that Jupiter is now leaving your house of home, not to return for his year's stay until 2026. If you are starting to panic because you didn't take advantage of Jupiter's presence in your home sector since Jupiter first entered this part of your chart in July 2014, you will get a sterling last chance this month.
Let's go through the month and you will see how many beautiful aspects will be showering you with happy opportunity and lucky breaks. It seems to me that the universe is about to make a major correction for you, for you have suffered too much, and now will start to bring you opportunity to enjoy fun, love, travel, and to improve your living space too.
As the month begins, the full moon of July 31 will still be strong and influencing you until August 4. That full moon appeared in Aquarius, 8 degrees, and lit your solar tenth house of honors, awards, and achievement. This is the only full moon of the year to appear in the professional part of your chart, so news may be quite exciting and memorable. This full moon will be outstandingly friendly, and will reward you for work you've done so far this year. Assuming you've worked hard and smart, this full moon is sure to put a smile on your face. If you have been interviewing for a job, you are likely to find out if you got it in the first days of August, or you may start then. Happily, Saturn will be prominent and helpful, so all that you gain professionally at this full moon will stay with you for years, possibly forever. Saturn is, after all, the planet of permanence.
This won't be the end of your exciting news about your career! On August 13, when Uranus sends a beam to the mighty Sun, more news will come, and quite suddenly!
Something else is happening involving Saturn. Saturn will go direct on August 2, so finally, Saturn is heading in the right direction AWAY from opposing your Sun. Saturn will leave the building (so to speak) on September 17, and you won't have him opposing your Taurus Sun anymore, not again until 2041, many decades from now. Saturn has been in Scorpio, a very difficult, thorny place for you, and this has been going on since October 5, 2012. You have certainly paid your dues. You have now learned how to judge character before you become deeply involved in a relationship, and this understanding will protect you from unproductive, hurtful future relationships. Your health will now improve too.
Also on August 2, if you have been looking to move, you may hear good news about an apartment or house, so keep your cell phone powered up. Love will also sparkle on this same day, for Mercury will be in exciting sync with Uranus. You may feel the zing of one of Cupid's little angel's arrows in a chance meeting, so look your best when you step out of the house, even if you're simply running to the post office or grocery store.
One of your best days of the month (and you will have several) will be on August 4, when your ruling planet, Venus, will conjoin with Jupiter. These two brilliant planets will meet in Leo, the sign of luxury, in your house of home. You may find the perfect new apartment if you need to move or the ideal piece of furniture that you've been seeking, for this vibration would be ideal to use for design purposes. Pick out new wallpaper or a paint color for your bedroom, for example, or order new carpeting. Another way to use this energy is that you may give a fantastic, beautiful party. Venus will be retrograde, and therefore weaker than usual, but with her alignment with Jupiter, she is strengthened. I am sure you will find August 4 to be a day that brings all kinds of happiness for you, beyond the areas I have listed and outside home-related topics. This will be a four-star day, opening all sorts of paths for you, including love.
On August 7, Jupiter will meet Mercury, you may be excited to buy or sell property, or sell furniture you no longer need on an auction site. Additionally, retail shops generally hold sales in August, so you may also hit a bargain for a piece of furniture you find and love. Jupiter has toured your home sector for nearly thirteen months, so by the time Jupiter leaves on August 11, you are likely to be living in home surroundings that make you feel like royalty. Mars, the action planet, will tour your home sector on August 8 to September 24 and motivate you to complete any home-and-family plans that you hatched earlier. If you didn't work on your home, get busy - you have the aspects to be productive, but they will be fleeting! Concentrate now for best luck.
Your focus on home will intensify when Mars, the booster rocket to all your dreams, will enter Leo and your home sector (fourth house) on August 8 to stay until September 24. This is one of many reasons I say that if you didn't get your living situation "just so" before Jupiter is set to leave on August 11, you will have this extra small but powerful window of opportunity to enact your plans now.
The new moon in Leo at 22 degrees, August 14, will bring all your real estate plans into focus and launch you into overdrive on your home-related project. This is great news. Uranus will play a big role at this new moon, and that means this new moon brims with surprises, a possible big breakthrough for home-related plans, or it may help you assist one of your parents in a big way.
It's also possible you will want to hire a landscape designer this month to turn your property into a heavenly design of trees, shrubs, flora, and many flowers, of all colors, to bloom by season. If you live in an apartment, you can bring in plants and a floor-to-ceiling tree to soften the environment. Taurus is known to love to live amid greenery. Whatever your heart's desire when it comes to your home can be set in motion to be materialized this month. Keep in mind that Jupiter will be in his final days in your house of home, until August 11, but as you see, a plethora of happy little planets will come in and help you make your dream a reality.
A new moon is a very important moment in time, so take this date seriously. A door opens at the time of the new moon, and if you do have a vision of all you want to achieve for your living situation, the new moon will help you by sending you a sudden, lucky break. Plan a special action for August 26, the happiest and luckiest day of the year, a five-star day, when Jupiter will have his annual meeting with the Sun. Each year, these two luminaries always choose a different part of your chart to meet. This time the Sun and Jupiter will meet in your love sector and see that your love life dazzles, and you will also have outstanding luck with home, property, and real estate matters. To do best, you must show your intent by being out and about and being interested in opportunities that come your way - nothing happens if you stay home!
The most frequent question I receive on Twitter (@AstrologyZone) concerns conception of a baby. Sometimes time goes by, and women find it hard to conceive. If this is true for you, or for your partner, I can say that this month will be your best to achieve conception. If you need to go the additional step toward in vitro, I would use August 26 to have a first meeting with a fertility doctor. If have had your first meeting, see if your cycle will coincide with the days near August 26. If not, don't worry - this entire month will be encouraging on just about every level.
Interestingly, this same day will be great for your home-related efforts. I won't have another month where I will say these things to you, dear Taurus, as the door is closing. If you are selling a house or are bidding on one, things will go exceedingly well on August 26. This is because the Sun is the natural ruler of your fourth house of home, and Jupiter is the natural ruler of your eighth house of other people's money, covering mortgages, refinancing plans, and home improvement loans. Apply on August 26.
If you are selling property, you are likely to get your best offer on the luckiest day of the year (also a fine time to close on a house). If you need to make a bid on a house, ask your broker for advice. From what I can see from here, if you truly want this house or condo, consider raising your bid to eliminate all competition. Alternatively, it is possible that you will inherit property from a kind relative this month. In another manifestation of the lucky beams that will be directed to you this month, if you need extra cash and have a large space, you may take a roommate, for doing so would bring in substantial money now.
The month will end on a beautiful note. Another full moon is coming up August 29, in visionary, romantic Pisces, almost assuring another elegant evening to enjoy this month. This time you will be surrounded by friends and possibly family too. This may be an engagement party, wedding, birthday party, career promotion party, or other celebration. Saturn will be in hard angle, so if you are still with a partner you are dating but who has given you heartache, you may have problems convincing your partner to come with you. You can go alone, for after all, this is a party, not Noah's Ark. This party might take place away from your usual base, so you may need to drive or take a train there. That full moon - a supermoon as it is called - will occur close to earth and look as large as a pizza pie with a gorgeous red-tinge - and will come conjunct Neptune, giving the evening a lyrical quality of exceptional beauty. Go, dear Taurus, and have fun!
In case you are assuming you are going to run out of happy aspects as you get to September, you won't! You have a lovely coming together of Venus and Mars, the classic sex appeal aspect, on September 1-2. These hot little planets will meet in Leo - again, ruling luxury and home, so again having people over will be lucky for you in love. Some years we do not get a meeting of Mars and Venus, but because Venus is retrograde, when she goes direct, Venus will meet one more time with her lover Mars on November 2. That will be extra special because by then Venus will be going direct, and both Mars and Venus will meet in your house of true love, in Virgo. As you see, rather than lose your romantic aspects, you are only starting to crank up now!
