12月有些复杂，星星们会送礼物，也会胡闹。所以你要清楚什么时候应该行动，什么时候应该克制并将事情推迟到明年1月，这很重要。
12月一开始就伴着困难星相，我在11月运势里写过。12月1日，火星对冲天王星，它们僵持不下，遭殃的又是财务。天王星掌管意外，而且一直在你财务宫，过去几年里，天王星已经给你的财务带来太多意外。这个阶段终于也快结束了，但现在，你面对的是攻击性的火星对冲不稳定的天王星。你可能听说生意中出现不顺，或丢失了贵重物品。一定要注意所有财物，12月初尽量把珍贵的东西留在家里。

This is a complex month, because the planets will bring both gifts and tricks, so it will be important to sort out when you should act and when to hold back and table things for January.
The month opens with a difficult aspect, one I wrote about in my last report to you in November. It concerns an opposition of Mars to Uranus on December 1. These two planets will be at loggerheads, and again, your finances will be the topic of the day. Uranus rules surprises, and you are hosting this planet in a financial house. Uranus has brought you more than your share of unexpected developments over the past few years. This period will end eventually, but right now you are dealing with a very aggressive Mars and volatile Uranus. You may hear of a setback in business, or you may lose something valuable. Keep track of all your possessions, and if an item is precious to you, leave it home in early December.
Adding to the confusing elements in early December will be Mercury retrograde from December 3 to 22. Mercury is your ruling planet, so it’s important to note all of its activities. We become forgetful during these phases, and so it is easy to lose things or see things get damaged. Last time Mercury retrograded, I watched my iPhone fall into a basin of water at the nail salon as my aesthetician was getting it ready to do my pedicure. As it happened, I saw the fall in slow motion, as my iPhone slipped gracefully under the clear water, bubbles trailing – my heart began to sink, helpless to catch it before it hit the water. My iPhone was finished in an instant, and I had to get a new one within hours.
Mercury rules communication, telephones, and also the mail. That same week, I sent a check to one of my staffers, and it never got there – and still didn’t arrive, and it’s three months later now. (Of course I wrote a new one immediately.) I am still trying to understand how mail can vanish, and how my cell phone can slip from my grip. Strange things happen during Mercury retrograde.
You will have an important full moon in Gemini 12 degrees, December 3, to be influential for a plus or minus four days. At this point you may get an award, special publicity, or an offer for a new position that comes with much prestige, influence, and power. It appears to be in the publishing or broadcasting industry, or in travel / shipping / mail / courier fields. Those are the most likely industries, but it could be in others, with a strong emphasis on your ability to communicate. The point is you will find the offer intriguing. If you have a job broker, headhunter, agent, manager, or other person representing you, however, you seem not to agree, or at the very least, you may have a very different perception of this job. Neptune will be in hard angle to the Sun and moon, which is not good, as there will be many unanswered questions that you will need to ask.
After you dig around, I am not sure you will find this job suitable for you. Mercury is retrograde and Neptune is manufacturing fog at record rate this full moon, hiding conditions that you may find a deterrent to taking the job. Be sure you get a complete job description so at the onset you know what will be expected of you because there could be some confusion about that. At the same time, concerns about your family, and how you will care for them, may also enter the equation, perhaps because the commute will be longer. There are many difficulties here, so I feel you will need to take your time studying the facets of this offer – I would prefer you take it (if you want it) in January. I mentioned family because you have a crowded fourth house of home, including the Sun, Saturn, your ruler Mercury, and Venus.
By December 18, the new moon in Sagittarius will arrive to join the group of planets I just listed and set off opportunity. The problem is, this new moon will be conjunct Saturn, 29 degrees Sagittarius, near the very end of Saturn’s tour (29 degrees 50 minutes). This suggests that the news you receive may be weighty. You may be ready to buy a house soon, or help a close family member financially who is not well. Or, the message of this new moon may manifest in a different way, in that you are moving, buying a house, doing repairs, renovating, or painting several rooms. Or, you may be entertaining a house full of people, and it will seem that everyone will need you to do something – and at work you will have the same kind of demands. You will have your hands full.
This is a bit of a cosmic trick that all of us, of every sign, will be subject to feeling in different ways. Saturn is due to leave Sagittarius on the following day, when it moves to Capricorn, December 19/20, a place he has not been since 1988 -1991. You might say, with Saturn moving on, that spells instant relief. Yet this time, it won’t quite work that way. A new moon sets up a six-month trend, even if Saturn moves the following day – it does not matter. What matters is where the planets are on the moment the new moon arrives, in other words, the time of that new moon’s birth. On that day, Saturn will still be in your fourth house making a big statement.
Saturn denotes the taking on of responsibility, so it may be that you buy a house, but due to taxes and other fees, the costs when finalized might be higher than you anticipated. You will get through this, but it will take some thinking. The part that matters is that Saturn has been in your house of home and family for three years, since December 23, 2014, and is set to leave December 19 or 20, 2017 (depending on your time zone). I will place another caveat here: If you were born late in your sign, September 18-22, you will feel this trend far more than your friends who have Virgo birthdays that fall in August or in September 1-17. Keep in mind that all this is temporary. You have already seen the challenges of Saturn in terms of home, property, and family over many years, and Saturn is on his way out. You are very close to the finish line.
Once Saturn moves to Capricorn, you will get very serious about your love life. You won’t want to date casually, but instead, see to it that you make your time count. You will be set on building a relationship. If you want to marry someday and have children, you will definitely be more focused, for Saturn rules the concept of time, and often when we have Saturn in the fifth house, where you will host Saturn for the next three years, we feel we are running out of time (even if that perception is not quite true). Many Virgo women will freeze their eggs if they are not dating and have no prospects for marriage. This could be a good idea, but let your doctor be the final authority on that choice. If you are hoping to have a baby, start trying for conception sooner rather than later. Saturn won’t stop you from having a child, but could make the process take a lot longer than you anticipate.
Saturn slows things down. If you are single and dating you may be smitten with someone who lives a far distance from you, which would limit the amount of time you could see each other. Or your new love may need to work long hours, such as would be the case with a doctor in residence or a journalist working in the newsroom of a big newspaper or TV station. You get the idea – enforced separations will be common, but will not necessarily be permanent.
Saturn will be testing your level of devotion to a relationship, that is all. Theoretically, Saturn could make your alliance stronger. Or, Saturn may make you more practical and realistic, not falling for promises that your partner will soon leave his marriage. After a little time, you might tell your partner to call you after the divorce is final, and walk out. Saturn makes us grow up, become more realistic, and learn life lessons, in your case through love, as well as the process of having and caring for children.
Keep in mind that Saturn will be in an earth sign, like yours, dear Virgo, so you will find this trend easier than you did when you had Saturn in Sagittarius, a fire sign in harsh angle to your Sun. You will feel freer and liberated as soon as you are unshackled from Saturn in Sagittarius’ grip. This may take until June 2018, but it will happen. A difficult planet on the north, south, east, and west angles of the chart is always tough, and this is what you had to deal with for three years. That planet acts much more strongly than it would in other parts of the chart. Often Saturn leaves a gift when he finally leaves, so you are in line for receiving a material or spiritual gift soon, in relation to the area you coped so valiantly with over the past three years, namely home, property and/or your assistance to a family member.
There is another way Saturn may influence you now and in the three years to come. If you have a highly creative job, Saturn will slow down a project. Saturn is also associated with money as well as time, so it may cost more to produce the project than estimated – keep that in mind when you hand in your estimates. Let’s say you write for a living and are working on a manuscript for a book. Your new book may take much more time and money to produce than you assumed at the onset, but by taking your time, concentrating hard, doing your research, your new book may become the best book you have ever written and receive much acclaim.
This month will be an up and down month, when stunningly good days stand near not-so-good days.
Two happy days will December 15-16, when Uranus (surprises) will be in contact with the Sun. The latter is based in your home sector, bringing good news about property, especially as it relates to money. If you need a mortgage or want to refinance your current mortgage, this day could bring the breakthrough. Or, your family may send you a large check as a gift, perhaps to add to your down payment on a house or condo. On the other hand, you may find the perfect piece of furniture on an auction site at a bargain price. There are many other possibilities concerning the source of your windfall – your boss may send you a bonus; or you may make a sale and earn a large commission or get a cash advance or royalty from your book.
You have an opposite kind of day on December 21, possibly a depressing day, when the Sun and Saturn will meet. The Sun is fiery hot and Saturn is icy cold, so it’s due to be a meeting of opposites. It certainly is a day when facts will be presented to you like a stone that suddenly falls from the sky. You may have to help a parent or other relative at short notice, perhaps because that person does not feel well. Or, your sweetheart may make a comment about you, or about how you care for your child, that hurts your feelings, as one of many possibilities. Alternatively, at work, an authority figure whose opinion you trust may criticize you. In this case, take the advice and think about it, but do not let it crush you. Within a day or two, you will feel much better.
Christmas Day falls on December 25, so by then you will be recovered and ready to enjoy the holiday. If you don’t celebrate Christmas, you will still have fun. The moon will be in Pisces, a soft, spiritual sign found 180 degrees from your sign, Virgo, so you will be inspired by the message of hope, peace, and good will toward others that will be so prevalent on this day.
You may be able to travel this month, a wonderful prospect, for Mars will enter Scorpio on December 9 to stay until January 26. This is a time you will more likely be on the road, traveling short distances. You may also have more interaction than usual with your sister, brother, or cousin.
One day to plan a trip now for next month will be January 6, when Mars will meet with Jupiter in Scorpio, a rare incidence, and for you, a perfect day to be on a trip, for any reason. If your birthday falls on September 10, plus or minus one day, you will have a double dip of pleasure on this day, January 6. You can begin getting ready now for that trip. If you need to travel a short distance to see a client, choose January 5.
New Year’s Eve brings you very close to the full moon on January 1, in Cancer, 12 degrees. At the time, you will have five planets in your house of love and fun, so it appears you will want to go out and be with friends to ring in the New Year.
If your birthday falls on September 4, plus or minus four days, you are most likely to enjoy this evening. The same is true if you have Virgo rising or the natal moon in Virgo 11 degrees. If you look at your natal chart, if you have a natal planet at 11 degrees of Virgo, Capricorn, Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces, you too will find this to be a very special time of the month.
You need not wait until January 6 to travel. This month, you may love being away on December 27, perhaps for a long multi-day weekend, because on December 28, Mars in your travel sector (third house) will be contacted by romantic Neptune, and together these planets can create a magical time, as if you entered into a winter wonderland snowball paperweight – if you can go to a snowy location, do. Neptune rules water, ice, snow, and all things from the stuff of dreams.
Summary
You will be feeling the pressures of the season, especially in terms of taking care of family, for Mercury will be conjunct Saturn the moment you enter the month. Everyone will feel this influence in different ways, but it appears that you will have to juggle demands of work and family at the same time. The holidays are simply adding another layer of tension over all. This is usually true, you may say, but this year, the pull between needs of those at home and demands of management and clients will be particularly strong.
The full moon December 3 (plus four days) may bring good news about a promotion or new job offer that would offer much power and responsibility and give you an impressive new title too. Before you accept, be sure you have a clear view of what you will be expected to do. Neptune will be in hard angle to the full moon, suggesting facts about your job duties may not be decided upon quite yet. Other facts may be missing too, so it will be hard to make a decision. Delay your answer, for there is another complication coming from Mercury.
Mercury, your ruler, will be retrograde December 3 to December 22. Delays and miscommunications may frustrate you, but you’d be wise to decide on a job offer or any other vital initiative in January when planets in Capricorn will be fiercely on your side. You might enjoy one part of Mercury retrograde, however, for this period will increase the chance that you will be seeing family members you’ve not see in years. It will be fun reminiscing together.
If you are in the market for buying or selling property, you may get a surprisingly lucrative offer the weekend of December 16-17. Again, don’t act on it until January – do a credit check, and try to slow down the talks, due to Mercury retrograde.
