As you begin October, you are coming off two weeks of solid progress in September. Mercury, your guardian planet, is not retrograde any longer, a situation that cleared up on September 5, but as is typical, Mercury needed time to become alert and ramp up to full power. That happened by September 19, and now that Mercury is robust again, your mental acuity is at an all-time high.
Additionally, last month on September 5, Mars entered Virgo, and favored you in a big way, putting you at the head of the class. Mars will continue to go through your sign this month until October 21, which is good news for you.
Everyone wants Mars in their own sign because Mars will infuse you with courage and drive, giving you the ability to move a difficult goal to completion. People will listen to you, and it will be hard for them to turn you down – you will be so persuasive! There is another bonus from Mars in Virgo – it will make you seem even more attractive, so you will have to get used to the extra attention when you start to turn heads. You may laugh and say that being popular would never be hard to take, but you are a reserved, modest soul, and it may take a bit of adjustment. It will be worth the effort – you only get Mars in your sign every two years, so this is special.
You have another big advantage in that Venus will be in Virgo too, which is extraordinary. Only rarely do we find Venus AND Mars in the same sign, for their orbits are very different. I will give you an example. This may have to do with a social event that is draining you financially. This is only two types of examples, but you get the idea – I feel you will feel stress in relation to some sort of social / romantic / friendship situation.

Next, we will have a very tricky new moon in Libra 27 degrees on October 19. This new moon will fall in your house of earned income and salary, so it is in a different place in the chart than the full moon was earlier, which was the house of other people’s money, October 5. At the new moon October 19, the Sun, new moon, and Jupiter are still in Libra huddled together. Ordinarily, this would be a fantastic new moon for making money. However, Uranus, envious of the loving relationship of these three luminaries in your house of salary and income, will throw thunderbolts and generally stir up trouble. Your finances will be on your mind.
This new moon reminds me of the full moon (I know, this month is a new moon) that fell on April 11 in Libra. At the time, the full moon was conjunct Jupiter and again, Uranus opposed both. Think back to that time – maybe read some emails you received back near April 11 to see the kind of topics you were discussing. Just like last time, you may have been hit with difficult financial news, but because you had Jupiter conjunct the full moon, and this month will have good fortune Jupiter conjunct the Sun and new moon, you will again find a way out. I know you are tired of these financial surprises that keep coming up through no fault of your own, but they are on the way out, and in the future you will have fewer and fewer.
The big news of the month is the arrival of Jupiter on October 10 to water-sign Scorpio, a sign that will blend beautifully with your earth-sign Virgo Sun. Jupiter has not been in Scorpio since October 2005 through November 2006, so because Jupiter last visited you in this house so long ago, this trend will feel new to you. In a water sign, Jupiter can support your ambitions in a much more powerful way than Jupiter could last year.
