Sagittarius Horoscope for December 2015

It won't take much of a nudge to get you fully in the spirit of the year-end holidays. The universe knows it has put quite a bit of responsibility on your shoulders in recent months. You need some fun. You will have many jewel-like evenings made for time with friends and in the romantic sense, for having special moments under the mistletoe.
The month begins on a great note. At the very start of the month, it's clear that your career is going great guns. Mercury rules your tenth house of professional status, and Mercury will receive an electric beam from Uranus in the very first days. Uranus is currently traveling through your creative fifth house, so something you are doing now seems to bring very good news, praise, media attention, or an offer for a new position, or if self-employed, a new, exciting project. Mercury, the ruler of your tenth house of fame, will be moving through your earned income sector, so it seems there is good money to be made too.
Lucky you... Mars, the energizing planet whose position in the chart tells me where your attention will be drawn, will be toward your eleventh house of friends, people, fun, events, and parties, and will emphasize your hopes and wishes all month, until January 3. Yay! A case in point, when you will see Mars working hard for you will be over the weekend of December 6-7, when you are likely to go to a party, or have a festive dinner with several (or one) of your friends. Choose an establishment that is beautifully decorated. The transiting moon will be in Libra all weekend, suggesting you'll love the bistro you choose - beautiful atmosphere, flowers, fine food, and of course, dining with friends you love.

I am sorry to have to report one difficult day, December 10, when Mars and Uranus will lock horns. Mars will be in your eleventh house of hopes and wishes, including friendships, and as luck would have it, Mars will be in direct opposition to Uranus in your fifth house of true love. Either a friend or a lover (or a child) may act strangely out of sorts, and may be quick to show anger. You will have to be very diplomatic on that day and surrounding days, when someone near you will be fragile, overtired, and overwrought, and almost looking for a fight. It would be wise not to bring up touchy subjects, or to voice any controversial opinions, such as regarding politics. As a Sagittarian, you love to debate a wide variety of philosophical topics, but this would not be the day to do it.
Your most important day of the month will be December 11, the new moon in Sagittarius 19 degrees. This will be your annual birthday new moon, the only new moon of the year that will act like a comic gift certificate, to direct its energy in any way you please, just to make you happy! Each month I tell you where the new moon falls, and that you are best to make an initiation in the area of the chart where that new moon falls. This time the new moon falls in your solar first house, emphasizing dreams that are found so close to your heart, and to your sense of individuality and identity, that even I cannot see what that dream is for you. Only you know - but you do know, so use this new moon for all its worth! Think of a goal that is very dear to your heart, and on the day or shortly after that new moon arrives, take a step toward reaching that goal. It can be a big step or a baby one, but what matters is that you do take a step. In astrology, timing is everything.
I am particularly excited about this new moon because it will receive a friendly, tight mathematical beam from Uranus, the planet of genius, surprise, innovation, and creativity. That gives you a clue - how will Uranus influence your life in the coming year? Uranus is based in your fifth house of creativity, and that house also rules love, pregnancy, and children. If you want to find love, Uranus will help you - quite suddenly one day, especially this month. If you want a baby and have had problems with conception (my number 1 question from readers), see a fertility specialist this month, after the new moon. If you are already seeing a fertility doctor, see if you can try for conception this month. Creative projects will do REALLY well, so if you are not interested in having a baby (or another child to add to your family), then you may direct Uranus' energy toward your creative project, which is, in a sense, your "baby" too.
If your birthday falls on or near December 11, plus or minus four days, you will feel this new moon in a very big way. The same is true if you have Sagittarius rising at 19 degrees (plus or minus four degrees) or a natal planet or moon at the same degree tolerance in Sagittarius, Aries, or Leo. You, too, will benefit.
At this new moon, you will also have Mars in Libra helping you, which translates into help from friends and any social group you might belong to. For example, if you need a new job, Mars will help you this month in this, your eleventh house, when you mix and mingle with members of a professional or even social club. Or if you hope to find love, Uranus will be "on it" pronto - you must do your part by looking your best whenever you are out and about, even when running to the post office, or when holiday shopping.
You have lots to look forward to this month, for December 24 and December 25 will bring some of the very sweetest aspects of the month. Here's what's in store!
On December 24, Venus will be in perfect angle to Jupiter, based in your celebratory eleventh house, so friends will surround you, smiling and sending you loving feelings. You may be invited to a beautiful party or you may decide to pull together friends and family and put out a charming display of delectable foods. Whenever Jupiter is involved, as Jupiter will be on December 24, luxury and beauty is almost always evident.
December 25 brings a tender full moon in the very sign ruling home and family. This full moon will be filled with sugar and spice, for it will receive just one dominant aspect, a silvery beam from Neptune in your house of home and family. Neptune teaches us about love so deep, it is endless and unconditional. What a wonderful aspect on Christmas Day where peace, love, and harmony is the dominant feeling of men and women the world over. Many readers do not celebrate Christmas, but this day will be special for you too, especially when it comes to being with family.
This full moon on December 25 will emphasize money, so in the days that surround this date (plus or minus four days) you may receive a bonus, commission, or licensing fee. Or, you may sell a creative idea and see a large check come in. If you have applied for venture capital or a loan / mortgage from the bank, again, good news should be on the way to you. Money comes in and money goes out, but it seems you will have money left over to purchase something you've been dreaming about having, and lo and behold, it seems to come to you now.
New Year's Eve brings the transiting moon to Virgo, and Jupiter, your guardian planet, will conjoin that moon, making it a festive night where you may feel like indulging a bit in luxury. You may be invited to a party given by your client or VIP in your company and if so, it would be a beautiful event, with no expense spared. If you have children, get a babysitter if you can, or ask your mother or mother-in-law to watch them - this party may be memorable in many ways.
