Capricorn Horoscope for December 2015

Of all the signs, Capricorn is considered the most ambitious when it comes to career. The little goat is very surefooted, and as the path narrows as you continue to climb higher in your career- above the tree line, so to speak - no doubt you will pass many other little animals who have given up. The climb has become too arduous for those little animals (your competitors), for the work is too strenuous. As you pass them on the way up, they will be exhausted, on their backs, with their little legs in the air, unable to move, let alone get up. You, on the other hand, almost never run out of energy and will keep climbing to the top. You are able to endure difficulty, and being a practical soul, you will do whatever it takes to keep going and reach your goal.
For this reason, this month you will love hearing that Mars, the planet of action, will be in your tenth house of career honors, awards, achievement, and fame from now until January 3. This important trend started on November 12, so you might already know by now that it is fairly easy for you to get access to highly placed VIPS in your company and your industry. If you are self-employed, this would be an ideal time to do a successful publicity or advertising campaign, for others will be interested in your accomplishments and all that you have to say. A day that will prove this idea beautifully will be Sunday, December 6, when the Sun and Mars in your career house will be in perfect sync.
This is exciting because the Sun holds sway over one of your financial houses, so on or near December 6 you may receive a generous commission, bonus, cash advance, royalty payment, or insurance payout. Money seems to make up a big part of the picture. If you don't receive cash, alternatively, the money I see heading your way may come in the form of a bank loan, line of credit, infusion of venture capital, or mortgage. Many Capricorns have had to move house often. This is because Uranus, the planet of sudden change, has been spending all his time in your fourth house of home and family since March 2011. This month your home and/or family will bring great news or options to explore on or near December 8. If you are not dealing with a property matter, you may hear good news from your mother or father, quite out of the blue. Your parents believe in you and are with you 100 percent. If you have a home-related dilemma, you may want to talk over your question with your parent, for you will get solid, imaginative advice that may surprise you in some way - a solution you had not thought of yet.
One day that may prove to be tense will be December 10, when Mars will oppose Uranus in a 180-degree tug of war. On this day, needs of those at home (or regarding a property matter) will be high and in conflict with the demands from your boss or client at work. It seems you will need help, so have someone in mind that you can call as you move closer to December 10. This is one of those days where you will wish you could clone yourself and be in two places at the same time. Do your best.
While we are on the subject of tough days, there is only one more time of the month to watch - a weekend, falling December 19-20 - when I advise you not to travel. Mercury will be at hard angle to unpredictable Uranus, and you may be confronted with delays and frustrating circumstances. You won't be expecting what comes up, so if you can travel earlier or later, it would be better to do so. Keep a close watch on weather conditions, and if you have to drive, make sure your car is in top working condition. If you have to fly, bring your music, book, and computer with you, and keep your power cord to keep your computer well powered up.
It's also a bad day to sign paperwork, so leave a space of a few days from this difficult weekend (December 19-20). Instead, I suggest you use December 17, a day that falls earlier and would be ideal for making any kind of commitment, especially in business. Venus in Scorpio and Pluto in Capricorn will be beautifully oriented to each other on December 17, and Mercury will be nearing a conjunction with Pluto in Capricorn. Not only will the day that I recommend bring you favorable control over events, as well as support from those who will matter to you, but it's also a good day to plant a seed that will grow and secure your financial future.
The following day will be a bright day - December 11 - and will bring the new moon in Sagittarius, 19 degrees. This will bring on a soothing, quiet, and peaceful influence and one you will welcome. January will be a much busier month for you, so you may enjoy this oasis of calm when you will be able to collect your thoughts and focus on those near you who really matter to you.
Your intuition will be very high in the days following this new moon, December 11, so if your instinct gives you a strong message, listen to it. It will likely be a message that you can't quite figure out and don't know why it seems so insistent that you follow it. Do it anyway. That instinctual message will be there to protect you.
The first three weeks of December will emphasize your need to build a solid strategy for yourself or your client or company. The Sun will be in your twelfth house, considered a favorable place for research, writing, thinking, and reflection, as well as all creative activities done in solitude.
After the Sun rolls into Capricorn on December 21, it will be birthday time. At that time, the mighty Sun will bring his light to your first house of identity, vitality, and appearance, and you will feel energetic, enthusiastic, and optimistic. By then, your confidence will rise, and you will be ready to step into the spotlight to state your thoughts and plans. If your health has given you concern, you might begin to rebound. All around, this will be when you come into your own and feel the tide finally turning strongly in your favor.
Do as much as you can in December, for in January, Mercury will be retrograde the entire month, from January 5 to January 25. Do not try to take major actions right to the date Mercury retrogrades, for you will feel the frustrations that a sleeping Mercury will bring. That is, people whose approvals you need will be plagued with indecision, forgetfulness, poor judgment, and a host of other frustrating behavior. You may be that way too, for Mercury will be mainly in Capricorn when it retrogrades. You should not make any decisions, announcements, or important initiations in January, for you will regret doing so later. Much of what you do will likely have to be redone. By all means, do not sign a contact.
The world will be in flux when Mercury is out of phase, and if you make decisions based on data and priorities you had set up weeks ago, they will be out of date by January, but you may not see this to be true until weeks after Mercury regulates its orbit. You will feel the slowdowns as soon as December 19.
The very best parts of the month will happen in the last third of December. Now, let's turn to those glowing wonder-dates.
First, December 24, Christmas Eve, brings Venus in ideal angle to Jupiter. Most people will not be asked to go to work on this day, for it is so close to Christmas, but you might be among those who will work a half day. Alternatively, you may get an exciting email from your boss or a competitive company about a new job title of greater responsibility and power. Something may come up to make you feel proud about the performance you have put in, and when you receive praise on December 24, it will put a big smile on your face. It seems to involve an international situation, or a publishing / broadcasting opportunity project.
The following day, December 25, Christmas Day, will bring the full moon in Cancer, 3 degrees. This is a tender, loving full moon in the house of commitment, so if you are single and in love, there is a good chance that you may be getting engaged or married on this magical day (plus or minus four days). If you are already married, your partner is about to make you very happy. I say this because on this full moon, the only major aspect involves a shimmering beam from Neptune, the planet of inspiration and dreams.
Whether you celebrate Christmas or not (and there are many readers who practice other religions), you will still enjoy this day to the fullest, and your partner will take a very prominent role. If you have no romantic partner, then it may be that a business partner will figure prominently in your life and that you will be signing papers to make things official.
Is your birthday on December 25, plus or minus four days? You will feel the energy of this day more so than others of your sign and benefit from it. The same would be true if you have Capricorn or Cancer rising 3 degrees or a natal planet or moon in Capricorn, Virgo, Taurus, Pisces, Virgo, or Scorpio, also 3 degrees. You can apply a plus or minus four degrees in all these instances.
New Year's Eve will have your name written all over it. The transiting moon will be in an earth sign like yours, dear Capricorn - Virgo - and Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, will be conjunct that moon.
