Pisces Horoscope for October 2015

Recently, your mind has been on money, and finding ways to manage the money you have in the wisest way possible seems to have become a priority. You may be consulting with your accountant too, to find legal tax strategies that you can take advantage of before you close your books on 2015. The full moon lunar eclipse last month on September 27 may have brought in a new source of income while another source dried up, but that is often the case when a financial eclipse shows up. Alternatively, that September eclipse may have motivated you to manage funds in such a way so that you could save more and spend less. You may have a goal in mind, such as to buy a house or to have enough money to care for a baby.
Mercury has been retrograde in your financial house as it has traveled through Libra since September 17, and may have caused delays in your getting paid or errors on your credit card or bank statement. While Mercury is retrograde, it is a good time to go back and analyze where your money goes, and how you can make better use of what you have each month. Also consult your insurance broker to see if you have adequate insurance for your evolving needs. That would include your health insurance, and car, homeowners, or renters insurance and any other insurance you may need. It's a good time to set up a retirement savings plan, no matter how small your contributions might be, and to consult with your broker to make sure your investment is performing as you both hoped. If not, you can make adjustments.
Now, the new moon in Libra 19 degrees will arrive on October 12 to continue your thinking and discussion about your finances. The problem is, the new moon of October 12 will receive a great deal of pressure from unpredictable Uranus residing in your second house of salary at 180 degrees from the new moon, falling in your eighth house of other people's money. That's a direct confrontation, and very jarring.
If you live in the US and had filed an extension to file your taxes, those would be due October 15, just after the most nervous-making new moon of the year. (I need to flag October 6 too, when Pluto will have a clash with the Sun, not a time to present ideas or apply for money from a bank or venture capitalist, for you are likely to get the cold shoulder.)
It seems something will come up after the new moon, October 12, that might make you tense about money. Not only will Uranus lock horns with that new moon, but Pluto will too. Pluto is in your friendship, hopes, and wishes eleventh house, so it may be that you are committed to do something with or for a friend that is becoming more expensive by the minute. For example, you may have agreed to be maid of honor at your friend's destination wedding, or if you planned to travel with your friend on a great trip overseas, you may become horrified at mounting costs. You may have to find ways to gracefully keep the costs within a certain parameter, and if anyone can do that tactfully, it's Pisces.
With Pluto in hard angles too, you may be confronted with a domineering person who will seem to order you around. If you owe money, this person won't take no for an answer, and you will have to find a way to pay or set up a payment plan. (Even though all this sounds scary, stay with me, because you have gorgeous financial aspects coming very soon after this new moon this month. Other planets will contribute good financial news to you, and they may more than solve your problem and calm your fears.
A packed eighth house sometimes points to a health matter that has to be addressed, not financial matters. The eighth house is the house of transformation, and also rules surgery. If your doctor feels you need surgery, you must listen and find the right day to operate. Mars is currently in Virgo, so astrological wisdom says not to operate on the part of the body that the sign Mars is currently traveling through rules. Mars in Virgo rules the intestines, so it would not be the right time to operate on that part of the body, assuming you don't have an emergency, until after November 12 when Mars will move on. (If you DO have an emergency, of course you must take care of it immediately.) The eighth house is associated with surgery specifically because the surgeon can transform you by removing the part of you that is making you sick.
Whatever comes up may take time to sort out. Most new moons set up a trend that lasts for six months, so this means you would work on the details of what you learn in the days following the new moon in Libra on October 12. You may not completely settle things until the full moon arrives in the same sign, in this case, Libra to end the trend on March 23, 2016, which is also an eclipse.
Don't worry too much about this new moon, because you have three astoundingly positive aspects that may have you leaving the month richer than when you entered it.
First, on October 11, Pluto and Jupiter will make one of the most harmonious aspects possible for your financial standing - a five-star day! You've not see anything like this since July 2013, and it will take years to see this aspect again. Both Jupiter and Pluto are financial planets, and it appears your partner (Jupiter is traveling through your seventh house of partnership / marriage / collaboration until September 2016, a long time from now) Jupiter will help you find your large one-time payment. Your partner in love or business will give you money to help you finish off a debt that has been pressing on you or give you money that will allow you to move ahead on capturing a dream. Jupiter governs your tenth house of prestigious career progress, so you may land a victory at some point this month. Let's not forget that Jupiter used to be your ruler before Neptune was discovered, so astrologers today still look at both. This gives Jupiter more weight and importance in your chart than for most zodiac signs. Jupiter's ideal angle to Pluto is a gorgeous aspect that always sparkles like diamonds in the snow in high contrast mid-day light. Whenever Pluto and Jupiter are in friendly conversation, success and generous arrive, and the generosity of the sum usually amazes.
Jupiter and Pluto are both slow moving outer planets, so they will be within mathematical significant orb all month. You don't have to look to October 11 particularly - your financial luck can strike at any time. Remember, your partner or a middleman will have influence in the way the money reaches you.
Your next dazzling aspect will arrive October 17, a Saturday, when Mars and Jupiter will align perfectly. These two planets have not met like this in over two years. On the day prior, Friday, October 16, you might hear news, or it may be that you find Monday, October 19 your wonder day. One way or another, your salary appears to be on the rise, so look for a new source of income this month or ask for a raise. How can anyone say no to you?
Your financial luck will continue! Next circle on your calendar Sunday, October 25, when Venus will conjoin Jupiter. Venus rules your eighth house of other people's money. Give this day a plus or minus two days of influence. You may hear that you are due a big bonus, commission, or royalty, or you may get news of an inheritance or generous insurance payout. You may win a big court settlement and when you hear, the news may make your jaw drop. Alternatively, if you have applied for student financial aid, a line of credit from your bank for your business, or a new or refinanced mortgage, when it comes to money, you will have the Midas touch.
The full moon in Taurus, 4 degrees on October 27, may bring you a lovely, bewitching inspirational trip. You would not journey far, but this trip may bring you an interlude of great happiness with your partner and enjoyment of nature's beauty. You may take your trip over October 24-25-26 if you have a few vacation days coming. Neptune, your ruling planet, will be magnificently angled to this full moon, so you may be traveling with your partner to see a friend or family member, most likely your sister or brother who lives in a lush setting, or to attend a lavish party or wedding. Allow an area of influence of four days, plus or minus, October 27.
If you cannot travel, you may be signing an agreement, most likely to start a creative project, due to the fine vibrations from Neptune. (Or, you may be now finishing a project that you are very proud to put your name on.) This would be the right time to do so. Mercury will be strong at month's end, another reason this is the time to sign, given your lawyer agrees the contract is ready.
October 27 is a full moon, so something is coming to fruition and conclusion. The house where this full moon will occur rules communication, so you may finish up an important manuscript or the design of your new website or be ready to launch your new advertising or publicity campaign. You may get involved with a new social media that you will enjoy, or you may change and update the look of your social media page. You may be printing newly designed business cards and letterhead stationery and be very pleased with the results. If you have a TV or radio show, you may be called to interview with the press about it or have something special to try on your show, and your experiment would be successful. Many texts, phone calls, emails, and other communications will flow to you - it will be a very busy time!
If your birthday falls on February 23, plus or minus four days, you will benefit the most from this fabulous full moon. The same is true if you have Pisces rising at 4 degrees, or a natal planet in Pisces, Scorpio, Cancer, Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn also at 4 degrees, and in all instances, a plus or minus of four degrees.
The end of the month seems made for you. The Sun will signal your ruler, Neptune, on October 30, stimulating you with fine energy to come up with dozens of ideas. Write them down! Halloween is the next day, October 31, and with Neptune so active, the costumes this year will be incredibly memorable and imaginative. If you have a child, start making your child's costume early in the month, for the competition to win the blue ribbon prize will be fierce. That's true for you too, if you and your partner plan to attend a costume party and want to win! The moon that night will be in Cancer, ensuring you will have fun.
In terms of romance, this month will be so special that you may feel you are living a dream. If you are attached, you are in a rare, beautiful time. Clearly, your partner adores you, and the feelings are mutual. The respect you have for one another is enduring, and has allowed your love to grow and deepen. You have three benefic planets in your house of committed love - Jupiter, giver of gifts and luck; Venus (as of October 8 until November 8) will bring fun and more love; and Mars is there too, close to gentle Venus, bringing sparks of love and a sexy vibe that you are sure to feel.
