Capricorn Forecast for August 2015

August will be a glorious month, filled with surprises and treats to enjoy in many corners of your life. As you read, you will see that I am almost giddy about how beautifully this month will unfold for you, for August will truly be an extraordinary month, filled with adventure, reward, luxurious travel - and more. If only life could always be like this!
You will soon see you are a powerful money magnet, with checks coming to you from almost every corner of your life. Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, has been in your eighth house of other people's money since July 2014, a little over a year ago. Jupiter is getting ready to leave this part of your chart on August 11, but in a very unusual display of support for you, other planets in our solar system will be gathering to give Jupiter a sweet sendoff, and also a second chance for you to gather up a large chunk of cash that you may need, and will certainly want to have.
The way the planets will be working together this month is unusual and very positive. Typically, after Jupiter leaves a certain sector, the opportunities that the house in question portends for you begin to narrow immediately. That's not the case this month for you, so stay with me and I will show you why you won't see a drop off in income - just the opposite, you are likely to see a big rise in financial gains.
Also, the new sign where Jupiter is now heading, Virgo, will be a perfect place for Jupiter to be for you and be cause for much celebration. There will be so much to show you, I barely know where to start. Let's start at the top of the month, where a slew of brilliant jewel-like days will tumble toward you.
August opens with a happy full moon that appeared on July 31. That full moon will still be strong and influential during the first four days of August, for all full moons have a circle of strength of plus or minus four days. This full moon appeared in Aquarius, 8 degrees, and lit up your second house of earned income. Not all full moons are friendly, but this one will be as sweet as a box of juicy strawberries. Additionally, Saturn, your ruling planet, will add a powerful measure of comforting stability. If you announce a fateful decision at this time, it will stay in place a long time, suggesting you will like how things play out as you move forward.
Over the weekend of August 1-2, Mercury will be in conversation with Uranus, bringing surprising, happy news about money. You will soon that see this is a financial theme that will only grow in power as you go along in August. It's as if a whole bushel full of large $100 bills will fly in your window and stick to your skin, all over, like glue. The money you will see me refer to now will emanate from your solar eighth house of other people's money. You may get news that a loan you applied for at the bank was approved, or financial aid you need for college will be coming through in the nick of time. An insurance payout may please you, or a kind relative who always loved you may have left money for you in his or her will.
The kind of money you will likely hear about over this weekend would come to you in one large chunk. While it is possible you may win a charity raffle or a scratch-off lotto game, it's more likely to come in in the form I have mentioned. It's also possible that you will receive a valuable gift.
Also over this weekend, on August 2, Saturn, your ruler, will go direct, after having been retrograde since March 14. This will change everything for you, for suddenly your life will awaken and move on fast-forward again. It may seem miraculous how projects that were stuck in glue start to jump to life again. A relationship that was mired in indecision will suddenly brim with vim and vigor again. You may feel that you fell into a parallel universe when you see this change, because suddenly you will be in a place where things are bright and sunny once more. Ha, ha, dear Capricorn - what you see is real, not a memory or a dream, and you will benefit from this change. Saturn won't go retrograde again until March 26, 2016, so you don't have to be concerned that at any minute the other shoe will drop and you will be back in limbo. That just won't happen.
Mercury will retrograde next month, September 17 to October 9, but that will affect everyone equally. (When Saturn retrogrades, that's your ruler, so you will always feel the retrograde more than most.). Venus is currently retrograde too, so it's not a good time to make dramatic changes to your appearance, and that includes plastic surgery, so be happy with the way you look now. You can do routine maintenance, such as to schedule trims or a manicure, but make your biggest, most radical changes at the end of October, when the stars will twinkle more brightly for you. (Venus will go direct on September 6, but won't normalize to former strength until late in October.)
August 4 will be an exciting blue ribbon day, for Venus, still in your house of other people's money, will align precisely with Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck. Venus rules your solar tenth house of career, so you may hear news that you've just scored a major professional victory. This will be a big day, so wear your favorite outfit - all eyes will be on you.
Additionally, Venus rules Taurus, the sign guarding your fifth house of creativity, so you may sell a creative idea and get funding to begin work. Or, you may sell a piece of art you created and negotiate a generous fee for yourself. Venus is a planet tied to profit, and so is Jupiter, so you may come away very happy with how things turn out. Venus is also associated with topics that cater to women, so see if you can think of a way what you can cater to the women's market. It is true that Venus rules your love sector, too, so you can schedule a first date, but with Venus retrograde I worry that you might find this new relationship lacking in warmth and affection. See how things go, but have your antenna up.
On August 6, Mars, the action planet, will be in perfect angle to Saturn, your ruler, so projects or ventures that pertain to your private or professional life that involve you and a collaborator, expert, agent, business partner, spouse, or friend should result in a superb outcome. This would be a perfect day to sign a contract, for Saturn will see to it that the agreement stays joyfully in place a long time.
Next, circle August 7 in gold, for Mercury will make its legendary alignment with Jupiter. If you are self-employed, a plum assignment may have your name on it, and if you get it, the job would pay well too. If you are not offered enough compensation, speak up and don't give up! You can hire a new worker on this day, confident the new person will prove that he or she is a true gem.
Mars will enter your eighth house of other people's money from August 8 to September 24, a time when you may find you are writing quite a number of checks. It seems you can afford to spend, so you may have your eye on something you've wanted for a long time and now can finally acquire. Mars will energize you to think of ways to make even more money, too, so there will be many financial talks swirling around you in August and September.
It won't be until the new moon arrives, August 14, that your financial talks will ratchet up to an entirely new level of sophistication. This new moon will be your fairy godmother, for it will be filled with power and light, and help you get an application or negotiations moving in the absolute right direction for you. If you need university financial aid or venture capital, or to get a favorable court financial settlement, you will see sudden progress after this new moon. (Keep in mind that nothing will happen before this new moon appears - news starts reaching you on the day, or in the days AFTER it appears.)
This new moon of August 14 will brim with good news, for it will be in perfect angle to Uranus, the planet that can bring you an unexpected, sudden breakthrough. It is important that you believe in your worth and that you don't accept an offer that you are lukewarm about. You are favored, and you can get things your way, dear Capricorn.
If, for example, you received a letter that disappoints you because didn't get enough financial aid to allow you to attend college, write an appeal to have your application reviewed again, and time your appeal for after the new moon appears. If you need an infusion of venture capital for your business, schedule your presentation for one of the days AFTER the new moon appears.
